Different lengths solo/alliance gifting

Is there a reason the solo gifting event only lasts 7 days when the alliance one runs for 14 days?

    I think you will see a solo event again next week, probably with same milestone and rewards.

    Will there definitely be a 2nd 7-day Solo Gifting Event to fill out the 14-day time period that the Ally Event lasts ? Otherwise all your gifting should all be done in the 1st week while the Solo event is going on.

    Couple days left until end of first week of Gifting. Is there confirmation that there will indeed be a second 7-day Solo Event for gifting ?
