Clarification please on AQ question

Arguing with ally mates, doing AQ maps 5, 3, 3. Leader claims that we All get the same rewards, whether in map 5, or 3. I've been in both, and I swear I get better Cat rewards from being in map 5. They tell me it doesn't matter as long as you complete the map, you'll get the same cat shards whichever map you're in.

Please tell me who is right

    I'm wondering if it varies between which AQ rewards you are talking about. I'm thinking that you may get the map-specific rewards at the end of each day, but that the alliance shares all the accumulated rewards at the end of the 5-day event. Does that maybe fit what you think you're seeing with the improved cats when you run in the Map 5 group?

    If your alliance does 533 and fully explore it, then you all get the rewards of exploring 533, which would include a map 5 crystal and two map 3 crystals.

    Hey there, any completion, exploration, or conqueror rewards earned by any of your battlegroups will be shared with all members who participate in that Alliance Quest, regardless of what battlegroup they are in. Hope that helps clear things up!

    Because you will get one map 5 crystal and 2 x map 3 crystals. The map 3 will offer up less.

    I think the op is referring to the rng he thinks its connected to the map you fought on. Unfortunately it's not sometimes you get good pulls sometimes you get shafted. It has nothing to do with the bg you were in

    You are all getting the same rewards, but if those rewards are crystals then you're only guaranteed to get the same number of the same crystals. The crystals themselves contain random rewards which will be randomly different for every player opening their own crystals.
