Darker screen during opponents specials are mistimed [Title edited for clarity]

So when you or the opponent uses a special attack, the background goes a bit black. We all know that.

I have noticed it a few times with different champions that sometimes the "darking" is a bit late:



I don't know if others have experienced it or not, but it can throw you off in certain fight.

    It’s a bit off for some, sym supreme sp1 is hard to tell apart from his basic attacks sometimes

    It always seems to me like he's doing a heavy and it messes me up sometimes

    Same thing happens for green goblin also, it's frustrating.

    I never used the screen darkening to tell me when to evade, I just do it so I don't understand how you people fail to easily evade her sp1 without the screen darkening

    Exactly, you can tell she is throwing it from the twist in her body right before, learning the animations is better than relying on a trick of light that may not always be there

    All I do is start baiting whenever they have a bar of power, and if they rush me I might parry, or back off if they have 2 bars. Once u figure out the timing and what it looks like it’s not bad at all. Sort of like RS

    The screen darkens when they throw a special?? News to me.

    Watch her power bar when baiting, as soon as you see it go down it should give you enough time to dodge

    I only realized the screen darkens when someone recently pointed it out on a stream. I’m too focused on the enemy’s body movement tells.

    Green goblin special 1 in all modes of gameplay, even when I am the one using my green goblin sp1 the screen doesn't darken properly. Another occasion is for the new captain marvel special 1 and 2, EQ as well as in arenas

    Okay I'm gonna revive this post because it hasn't been fixed yet. And it's getting worse. Captain Marvel movie's SP1 doesn't even "darking out".
