He is mystic cause they designed him specifically to counter Corvus

Doctor Strange ● Doctor Voodoo ● Dormammu ● Diablo ● Ghost Rider ● Guillotine ● Iron Fist (Immortal) ● Juggernaut ● Loki ● Magik ● Mephisto ● Mordo ● Morningstar ● Scarlet Witch ● Symbiote Supreme ● The Hood ● Thor (Jane Foster) ● Unstoppable Colossus

Jane Foster seems like the only non-magical mystic.
All the others directly cast magic or were given their powers by magical means (including Juggernaut's magical helmet from Cyttorak)

Most Psionics are mutant. Jean Grey is actually Phoenix, thus Cosmic (Jean Grey/Marvel Girl would be mutant and psionic)

They don't have a Psionic-only class, so they dumped him in Mystic.

Jane falls under the same category as Juggernaut and Colossus, i.e. empowered by a magical item. People tend to forget, since it hasn't been a thing with Thor for a long time, but Odin sealed him away into Mjolnir and made it so Mjolnir would give whoever was worthy to wield the hammer Thor's powers.

Thus how we got characters like Beta Ray Bill, Thunderstrike and Jane Foster.

Diablo is not a magic user he is a practitioner of alchemy. The only magic he came into contact with would be Mephisto for a long life.

@Kabam Miike can you or some one else lock this now please? The main question was answered by the Russo interview link and will otherwise just devolve into explaining comic lore to people who are only aware of periphery materials for Marvel.

So Jane Foster is magic empowered too.

Ebony was just dumped in Mystic then.
His write-up indicates that his powers are based on intellect and persuasion
    The magical elements are technological.
He would be more akin to Doctor Octopus and Tony Stark and fit into Tech.

Research the character. He combines both sorcery and alchemy; he turned to sorcery in the first place because alchemy was too finite and used sorcery to contact Mephisto to make the bargain in the first place.

Marvel specifically tells Kabam what class the champs should be. The mods have stated this is the past.

    Seriously? I find that strange.

This is just one example I found
Ah, there's a big difference between working with them and Marvel telling them what to make them. ;)
    marvel has the last say.
What was said was they work closely with them. Not that it was predetermined for them.

It's been linked twice now, but the movie version was intended to be a sorcerer, not just a telekinetic; the Russos just didn't really show case that.

So I guess we can all agree Dr.Doom should be mystic then?

Just did a quick search ...

There you have it. Ebony Maw uses magic. Problem solved, he is a mystic champion.

Not exactly. he uses magic to manipulate tech, where as oct and stark use tech to manipulate the outside world. The Russo's changed his psionic abilities into the ability to cost spells, primarily on technology.

I'd be alright with that. Or Tech with Mystic champ qualities, maybe another crack at a hybrid like Karnak
