I literally put out the definition of what a villain is but people seem to be ignoring the 'actions OR motives' part. Quite baffling that people cant read in a game where each new champ has a page long of abilities
No. You applied my logic to something I wasn't even talking about and haven't registered a view on yet, or even looked at. This is the part where we agree to disgaree.
Then have a look at it now. No matter how you try turning things around, your logic comes down to a point where either Mr Sinister or The BO have a wrong tag.
I'm not taking a look at anything. I'm done going over it and over it. I'm talking about THIS topic, and I have stated my views. Take what you want from that. I disagree that they're wrong. That's the end of it.
In other words: Once again you don't want to admit that Kabam has made a mistake even though undoubtably, by your logic they have made a mistake on at least one of the two parties. How am I not surprised?
What if Marvel dictated the tagging and not Kabam?
The OP themselves specified it was about Blade. You may have your own motivations for debating it, but these Threads come up because of Blade. Otherwise, people wouldn't even notice or care as much.
Maybe that´s why it matters to OP, but with the tags I believe that it is a system that is used to categorize certain champions, thus the tags should cover what a champion is. I´m having the discussion because I see a system Kabam has implemented and is not using correctly (on purpose?). You don´t seriously want to tell me that I should not be allowed to take part in this discussion because some other people have different motivations than I do...
Literally not what I said at all. I said these discussions wouldn't likely be taking place if it wasn't for Blade and his Ability. No one said you shouldn't participate. I just don't agree with your opinion. The Villain is Thanos. Not his Black Order. You can agree or disagree. Doesn't matter to me.
How arrogant do you have to be to join a conversation and then say everyone else’s opinions doesn’t matter That’s the whole point of the convo If you’re not willing to listen to someone else’s contrasting opinion that is just sad

No. In other words, I disagree with YOU, nothing to do with Kabam. I'm not going to be badgered or forced into seeing things your way. So if you can't agree to disagree in a reapectful manner, that's your problem, not mine.
These are your villains, a good chunk of which are way less evil or just as evil as the Black Order. Again, its a GAME and its Kabams game, so they can tag who they like how they like but I'm not going to believe a Marvel rep said yes to these people as villains but not the main villains in their biggest movie to date.
'The Black Order is opposed to any Super Heroes or teams that stand in the way of their master or the destruction that earns them their foul reputation. Among those who that resist the Black Order are the Inhuman royal family, the X-Men, the Avengers, and Kree warrior Ronan the Accuser.'
This is their description on the marvel website which clearly portrays them as villains. Just because you work for someone doesnt make you not a villain or a hero otherwise cap shouldnt be considered a hero while working for SHIELD
Beliefs are alot.like feelings without facts they dont mean anything
Yeah but when facts aren't being presented from either side, I'll choose my common sense ✌
Facts were presented marvel has final say kabam said no villians marvel didnt correct them. The people making the game and characters decided those are facts.
Common sense means you listen to the people who designed the champ
Where did marvel say to add those tags into the game?
You're missing the point of what I'm saying. Their only purpose is to serve Thanos. He's the Villain. In any event, there is more to the game than Blade.
This is...fairly obviously silly logic. Servants of the bad guys are usually, in stories and in life guilty by association.
I do agree though that the ruckus here is, really, ultimately, about Blade. But so what if it is? When Corvus and Proxima came out not tagged as Villains there was a lot of frustration about this for that very reason. Kabaam did a decent job dealing with Blade as the OP Meta character not by nerfing him to the ground (like some of the 12.0 top champs) but by coming out with good counters.
I do think though that not labeling Black Order characters as villains, in the context of countering Blade, was just lazy though. They're obviously Villains...good grief they're villains because they serve a villain. Ebony Maw, for instance, at least in the MCU seems any but a drone. He fully embraces Thanos's mission. He seems like a pretty smart guy (squid) who wants what the Villain wants. Anyway, to say folks like them are not villains is kind of like saying only the bosses in any crime outfit are really criminals, etc.
On the "serve the villain not a villain" logic.... Hood shouldn't be a villain. Mordo shouldn't be a villain (for the same reason, going by the comics). I don't think Morningstar should be (but I'm not sure. I remember something from the motion comic on her that she serves Mephisto maybe?)...
I assume others from that graphic above also fall into this list but I don't know enough about them.
The game tags are just that, tags, technically speaking wasp should be an avenger and the hulk has nearly destroyed earth on a few occasions should he be marked a villain as well? In the scheme of the game the black order are soldier doing their masters bidding hence thanos is a villain, his lieutenants are not serving there own ends hence they are not villains.

We're not talking about the definition of a villain. We're talking about within the context of the game, and the Movie itself. By that logic, any bad guy should get the Tag. The Black Order aren't the central villains. That's Thanos. It's not a Court of Law. We're not trying their actions. The game doesn't revolve around Blade, and not all Champs that are "bad guys" will be Tagged as Villains. They're Tagged as something else, and that's their call to make. I'm sure there will be other Tags that don't make sense to us, but ultimately it's their decision. They along with Marvel, decide what attributes and mechanics these Champs get within the game, and that doesn't have to make sense within logic. Just the game. There are more things to consider when balancing Champs than just logic. In this case, I agree they're not THE villains. That is Thanos.

Which is almost what I said in another post. Its their game, so they can decide to label people as they see fit. But I'm never going to believe a person from Marvel told them not to label villains as villains (unless i saw it from a Marvel rep) when its clearly just so Blade doesn't get Danger Sense over more champs without a synergy. Common sense never meant believing whatever is spoon fed to u but arguing for a change is pretty much pointless...

The comment was made that Marvel has a say in it as well. Even still, if they decide not to Tag them because they don't want them to interact with certain parts of the game, that's reason enough. The only purpose the Tags serve is within the game.

I just want them to explain HOW they are mercenaries They never receive payment from what I understand They follow thanks becausE of his idealogoy not money I think I want a formal explanation

Doesn’t matter if they are not still THE villains they are still bad guys and should be classified as villains So nazis aren’t THE villain during WW2 only Hitler is because he is the leader? Flawed logic IMO The thing is I want an official statement explaining why they are not classified as villains No speculation Shouldn’t be hard
