We recently played an alliance in tier 5 with 1300 war rating full of noobs. It was a 3 BG war but only 2 enemies even bothered placing defenders. I don't think the same thing was going on but it was just bizarre.

The solutions proposed here are so poorly conceived. All.are very you-centric all making assumptions that everyone is the type of player you think you are. Plenty

Rwhack, you're hilarious---you're in that alliance.

I'm just saying BG2 rules and don't spend if you see us. Call it a public service.

Here's one for you @rwhack ... why don't you stop being a bunch of **** and face off against other alliances on your "level"

    Pussies

It's been my consistent experience that people that speak like you are only tough behind a keyboard and usually fairly uneducated and young. I can guess you're all 3. It's hard to have a battle of wits with someone unarmed. Even less fair than my alliance facing yours. I've been around awhile. We give up things people want when we drop. We have some guys with one r4....and a few like me with 5 or 6. The rewards in tier 1 aren't worth mad spending. If you ever get there you may understand.

It seems like many who are complaining about higher end alliances moving into lower alliances don't know or understand the tradeoff in rewards. When higher alliances swap to lower alliances its a strategic trade-off. They are giving up all other rewards for 3-4 weeks in order to get more 5* shards. Let me explain.

A tier 1 high level alliance has maxed and expiring t4c. They now need more 5* to rank. But to win wars constantly in tier 1 requires constantly spending. So switching to a lower alliance is a strategy to help limit spending on wars all the time.

Now here is the tradeoff. Once you move to a lower alliance ALL your rewards are reduced. You loose out on SA, Glory and AQ milestones and ranked rewards. You basically give up all those tier 1 rewards for 3-4 weeks as your new lower alliance works its way back up from tiers 3 to 4.

That means you only get a few hundred glory. Think about all you buy with glory when you get ~3k a week in tier 1 (T4B, T1A, T4c shards) They also give up T4CC ranks which essentially opens up a spot to a lower alliance to get T4CC from AQ for about 3-4 weeks.

You loose out on good SA rewards because you are in a lower bracket with **** rewards.

In AQ you are in a lower tier so you play 5x3 and work your way back up to tier 1 in 3-4 weeks where you can start ranking for T4c again. You are also get **** rewards in AQ as you make your way back up to tier 1.

This strategy of swapping down to a lower alliance makes sense for top alliances, but the alliances in the middle to middle-top are also starting to do this. Which is actually a bad strategy for these middle alliances as it actually slows their progression in the long run.

If Kabam awarded more 5* shards and T2A in tier 1 AW rewards then top alliances would stop swapping.

If you are a lower alliance after you get a matchup in war and attack phase begins take a look at the opposing alliance roster and ranking. If it looks like they are swapping ask them. Most will tell you they are swapping. Then you can take the loss and use it as practice and not waste items.

It definitely angers me that there are many alliances that are jumping ships in order to win this so called "easy war" because our normal wait time in queue average around 3-5 hours or so. If by changing this, it will speed up the speed in which games are matched, I am all for it.

Now the so called low alliance who gets destroyed... aren't you all doing the SAME EXACT thing by not giving it your all each war so eventually you get to match against us?

Like the saying... you can't have your cake and eat it too...

No offense, but this is the dumbest thing I've read in awhile. They are giving it their all. These are low alliances on the way up who are facing 12 million alliance jumpers. They aren't low because they are slacking off, they are low because they are newer to the game. @Immortal. And no, I haven't called you dumb. Smart people are capable of writing dumb things.

Perfectly stated! Thanks for applying logic to this unnecessary concern.

Alliance War exploit it is just like AQ exploit before black out. People in tier war are loaded of T4cc and they even have expiring T4cc. Their stash is ridiculous. They dont need to do AQ.

Kabam must implement the black out globaly for the whole game everytime you swap. The dishonesty that some have in this game trying to always twist the fair play never stops amazing me!

You successfully made no argument as to why a blackout should be applied. Or was the argument simply that people have a lot of class cats now so there should be war blackouts? I don't follow your logic.

It's called sandbagging it is unsportsmanlike at best and at worst exploiting/cheating although there is no rule against it. Continued posting about it will encourage more alliances to practice it; this will bring about less enjoyment of the game for those competing against it which will eventually force a change. Bear with it or enjoy it while it lasts as competitions cannot allow it.
