    You can earn them in game, act4, RTTL, act 5.1, multiple event quests all give out 4 star awakening gems class or generic. 5 star awakening gems are the rarest item in game so it makes sense they don't come around that often. Act 5 will most likely have 1 or 2 gems for completion and exploration and the first clear of LOL which isn't that difficult anymore give a 5 star awakening gem as well

    I used one on SL and one on Punisher. Duped SL shortly after. Lol. He's Sig 77 or so now. No regrets. Just how it played out. Glad I used one on Punisher. Two factors for me are Rarity and Utility.
