Greetings Summoners and welcome to the first ever Creator Spotlight!
Marvel Contest of Champions has motivated a lot of Summoners to take the plunge into content creation and every month we are going to feature one of The Contest’s excellent creators!
These passionate Summoners devote their time and energy to create content that both entertains and teaches the community about everything from beginner tips and tricks, all the way up to how to conquer the hardest end game content The Contest has to offer!
This month we have a creator that does it all! Not only is he a part of the UMCOC podcast, but he also streams MCOC regularly on his Twitch channel.

Who are you?
“Hi! My Name is Royal and I’m a video game nerd of 21 years”
What kind of content do you make?
“I do write ups on champs, small explanations of their abilities, functions and strategies in using them. My Favorite thing is to show people the small nuances where characters shine the best!”
Tell me a little bit about yourself, what are your hobbies outside of MCOC?
“I enjoying doing dumb voices and occasionally drawing. Eventually I want to be an animator that makes movies on all my own! (With enough practice I’m sure I could, just give it time.) “
Favorite Champion or Champion you are known for?
“Starlord. The original damage dealer who dances was my very first duplicated 4 star character, and has stood the test of time and content. Arguably used more than 50% of my roster combined.”
Who do you think is an underrated champion everyone sleeps on?
“This may be biased, but Iron Fist. He’s the character that got me my Legends Title. The sheer amount of raw damage he can put out simply by punching his opponent is simple, yet satisfying.”
If you could add one hero from the MCU to MCOC, who would you pick?
“Agent Coulson. If Nick Fury can throw fists with the best in the Battlerealm, I see no reason Coulson couldn’t either!”
Why did you start making content and why MCOC?
“There’s always something new to learn in this game, and having the satisfaction of being able to explain it, from something as simple as how to use a character to strategizing team compositions to take down Quests is really rewarding. The game has developed such an amazing community that it almost feels selfish to keep cool information to yourself. “
What is your favorite fight in MCOC so far and why?
“The cinematic Thanos fights. I love the tiered levels of abilities you have to face as you go through the fight. Creates such a unique experience unlike anything the game has thrown at you.”
Aside from streaming, you are also on the UMCOC Podcast right? What's your role on that show?
“I am! I’m the glorified character explainer. I take a character each week and break it down for people.”
All time favorite food?
My favorite food is pizza. Specifically bacon and pineapple. (Oh yes, I’m terrible I know.)
