It does the same for me. The game opens up, asks me to choose a side. When I go to confirm selection I get the connection error in the bottom right of the screen. The game eventually kicks me out. Using iPhone X and latest update.

Here is another issue with missing wars. High tier AQ does requires a lot of loyalty for donations. Wars are the best way to get it, and now said loyalty is missing along with the other resources and shards from winning/participation. This is ridiculous that this major mechanic is still not fixed and you want to start a war season. This really is a problem for someone like myself that uses Hyperion to destroy node 29 kilmonger. And you can’t say just use another champ, as thanks to my lackluster rng he’s the best option for me.

They are not counting the killing blow, or any hits afterwards (killing with the first part of a special). Very annoying from my own usage. I believe I saw a detailed breakdown on Reddit a couple of weeks ago explaining the interactions.

From a business standpoint it makes perfect sense. Wait till everyone burns through their resources on variant, use all their units on Black Friday/cyber Monday deals, then release the info bc it has an epic difficulty that will probably have some amazing rewards that cannot be passed up on.

The reason I went with PHC's is they can be earned the more you do, and this just seemed as a natural progression for the game, while still keeping the PHC in tact for new and up coming summoners..
