  • Echoing others thoughts... this is a poor decision and should be reversed. This encourages players to abuse bugs they find ASAP and goes against Kabam precedent.
  • Just my humble opinion, but this is all just very disappointing and demotivating for me. I love the idea of different gift packages in theory, but I'm very disappointed in the execution.
  • I agree. The solution isn't easy, as it's a game design question and it's a question of what's fun, what do they want to encourage/discourage, what's fair for new and old players alike, what requires skill, and so on. I absolutely agree that's not an easy problem to solve. What I think is simple is analyzing Kabam's…

It's wasted if I can tell you that answer without going through all that analysis. There's no point comparing obviously inferior options to an obviously…
  • Lots of write-up, but frankly it's largely wasted. There's obviously one superior strategy to war - max diversity and highest PI possible. The scoring is so simple, there's no game theory analysis needed. 100% clear, maximize your diversity in the highest PI way possible... and hope it's higher than your opponents' score.…
  • These changes are highly disappointing. You've taken war, which some of us considered the best part of the game, and completely broken it. Wars will now be decided before they begin based on diversity and rating, both teams will 100% most wars and no one will have fun. There is absolutely nothing competitive or skill-based…
  • Bring back defender kills, fix the scoring so that it doesn't incentivize placing fewer champions, and scrap the diversity nonsense. If you really want diversity, BUFF the champs that are considered worthless and/or come up with nodes that make certain champs good defenders. The current diversity mechanic is the laziest…
