It takes away from his damage because frostbites do ~50% more damage when you detonate them early with a heavy. And they do even bigger damage when you detonate them with the sp2 if you consume your ice armor for the attack increase.

There is a bit more to it than a green boost. Green boosts don't affect stats that scale with base damage but ascension will increase those (spore damage, harvest damage, Spot's ruptures, etc). You will get the rewards when you contribute points after the timer is up. You can get free paragon crystals from the event tomorrow (Wed May 10th). Or you can save one crystal to pop after your timer expires. You will get credit for the milestones you already contributed points toward.

This is correct. When they introduced the 1 loyalty 40% AW revives kabam announced the intention to make them not affect the item use limit. Your alliance is an extreme outlier. There are exceedingly few alliances with only 10 members with accounts that small who take war even semi-seriously. You guys are missing the obvious. Not all tier 1 or tier 2 alliances are at the top of the leaderboard. We are tier 2 and we only run 2 bgs. We don't score enough points to get masters and finished in plat 4. We played several larger alliances who no doubt bumped up to tier 1 at the end of the season and finished no higher…
