Unless Kabam is starting a university for this game… why the pop quiz with the champ? Why not utilize the screen space to pop open a spell book like a mini game for her SP1? There would be some skill involved, but that would reduce it to the level of Fruit Ninja… instead of w/e this is.

Yea, I’m in the middle lane, so Thor is my second boss.
-
Kingpin and Kindred should take you far
-
I had to choose between Corvus and Omega Red — chose Omega Red cuz I got 7* Moleman, who can do Corvus things when I need him to… Also, I never really used Omega Red, figured I’d see why people liked him so much.
-
Gonna take mine up to R3 when Level Up comes around tomorrow With max sig giving 30% unblockable chance, this is perfectly acceptable IMO
-
Right, the game will only be “easy” if no frames are being skipped — invisible attacks suck worse than attacks that just light up the whole screen, lol
-
I’d be curious if you could also reduce the frame rate — much of the challenge is reacting to quick actions… if you could reduce that, it might like bowling with the bumpers up. On the other hand, if we increase the frame rate, would we be able to do things we’ve been seeing the AI do? Like throw SPs without fully…

Damn dude, nice job :)

Maybe the synergies could be linked nodes (shudder), that could be a way to combat crazy synergies Figure the impact would be twofold: * Allow champs like Apoc and Cable to shine in areas like BG * Reduce the reading — although counterintuitive, experienced players would know most of the relevant synergies; so we wouldn’t…
-
True, but might reduce tactics like #Magic-Thief Bishop does have those odd synergies that give him a bar of power… that would certainly be a problem.
-
He would be way more useful if he had some sort of ramp up mechanic for BGs — same could be said for Corvus and Ægon. Although, Ægon is unique — he’s the champ for long form content by far.
-
@Hickdog27 its understandable that you don’t like BGs; it’s been stated several times that this is a big shift from the norm — usually, you beat the AI, you win; but now you need to beat the AI faster than someone else. It is a big shift from the ~7 years of something else. Not sure if I’d agree with everyone saying BGs…
-
Sadly he can only be a defender in BGs.
-
Yea, you’re prolly tapping the camera and that doesn’t register as a block. I always play with the camera to the right.
-
It’s not impossible, it would just be a tedious fight without an optimal counter. I actually took off about 50% HP the first time with Shuri cuz I didn’t read the boss node and the only bleed champ I had was Warlock. She doesn’t heal up, so can just take your time and chip her down; that’s how I improved back in the day…

Valiant is a huge upgrade from Paragon; what you’d lose in a desirable R3, you’ll make up for with more access to 6* R5/7* R2 materials.
-
Fair enough, it is an improvement for BGs — just trying to see if it would undercut story progression. Cuz the rewards are arguably on par with Act 7; if UC/Cav players can get those rewards at their tier, worried they wouldn’t bother progressing.
-
@DNA3000 I do agree that something has to change with BGs to encourage participation; but I think it’s a fundamental problem with the system itself compared to the game that was developed for about 8 years before it. People came in expecting A and now it’s À — similar, but not quite what people were expecting. I remember…

Replace the word “energy” with “engagement” and you’ll see why Kabam is doing it.
-
Thanks for the tip :)

Anyone can work, don’t use champs with unblockable though, and bring a relic — fight is impossible without a relic.
-
That’s the double edged sword here. You have to balance the champ info against the node and make a decision in about 30 seconds for a draft and about 15 seconds to decide your defender and attacker. I agree it can be stressful and a bit of a pop quiz every match, but sorry to say, but that’s kinda the point of BGs.
-
I think Nameless Thanos hacked Jax’s account.
-
In all seriousness tho… at this point I’d settle for removing some of the useless masteries and the “coming soon” portion and allowing us to take points off of individual masteries instead of the whole tree.
-
-
Not to toss another wrench into the cog.. but maybe it’s time to kick the old mastery system to the curb and start fresh with the fabled Masteries 2.0

You picked a character with one of the most insane regen and passive damage potential. You added elements to beef up that potential. You added elements to prevent us from effectively punishing SPs which is crucial for the fight. You added an element to make us die while we waited for the AI to behave. You gimp the champs…

I’m sure this has been mentioned in some form or another by now, but if I can try to summarize… 1. Just because you know a champ, or don’t know a champ doesn’t make the “known” champ more popular than the unknown — or it could be people want to see what the “unknown” champ is about 2. What does Kabam gain by rigging a vote…
