It depends what you need right now. If you want an insane attacker, go with Deadpool. Sentinel if you want a mix of both. He is not as crazy on offense and he is also not a meta breaker on defense like Bullseye, Onslaught and Serpent. If you do plan to use him purely on defense then awakening will be a big help.

This event started becoming less exciting to me as soon as they removed the gifting aspect of it. One think I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around is after giving 10 free 7 stars why are they being so frugal with 7 star shards drop in a special crystal that cost 300 units. I'm sure if these crystals dropped a good regular amount of 7 star shards, very few would be complaining right now.

The base Sentinels are mostly portrayed as punching bags for the X-men in comics and shows. So it’s kinda lore accurate but I’d also love to see him countering mutants in the game.
