  • Those are the 3 I have at R5, all duped. My favorite is Omega Red, but he demanded much love from me: high sig, full suicides and Sabretooth synergy. Blade, once my main champ to clear content, I now use against Dimentional Beings and Villains (paired with Ghost Rider). If you use suicides and have a Sabretooth to place on…
  • I run my Omega with full suicides and Sabretooth synergy. Makes him so much better. You may take this in consideration before deciding...
  • I saved lots of units, waiting for act 6.2. Then I waited some more for the bugs to emerge and to be fixed. After all this, what is left is the most BS and cash grab fight I have ever seen in all the games I have played. I won't be touching it anytime soon, if ever.
  • I am a F2p player because I started playing a little before 12.0 fiasco and realized then Kabam can't be trusted. And they had proven me right many times.
  • Omega Red is better the more of these he has: high signature, suicides, Sabretooth synergy. However, in my opinion, if you have none of those 3, I would not R4 him. He still is a very good champion: poison immune, almost bleed immune and can deal very well with Poison, Bleed, Biohazard and Caltrops nodes. About Dr. Voodoo,…
  • With that team you would benefit from the 60% increased attack only. You don't use champions that get other benefits, like Omega (activates Death Field at the beggining) or Ghost (converts to furies). The main problem with suicides is Recoil: each time you use a SP you will lose automaticaly 5% health. There are other…
  • What champions do you use? Suicides benefit ones more than others. For instance, Omega or Ghost benefit a lot.
  • 1. I run full suicides and I think they are worth in general, since they boost your atack for 60%. There are some nodes and champions that will give you a hard time: Heal Block, Heal Reversal, for instance. Carnage will gain power if your opponent is bleeding. Elektra is very hard to stun if you have a debuff on you…
  • I use that same synergy and didn't notice any difference. If I may suggest: find an Omega Red on a Quest and fight him with your Omega (and with SB on your team). You will then be able to see if you place spores faster than him.
  • For instance, Havok signature reads: «Havok's powers have massive potential, but their tendency to surge suddenly threatens to overwhelm his control». Useless piece of information. Archangel had a description as vague as this also. I am sure there are others. I would like to, perhaps, touch the signature information and be…
  • Great advice for people who are struggling. Now I understand why we have that boss Champion at 6.2.6.
  • I answered on that thread. And I was referring to the Antman video.
  • I am not talking about his sig ability. It does not scale, indeeed. If spores are 10 or higher it's always the same damage. The discussion is not about his sig ability. I used to apply an heavy, with 20+ spores on the opponent, and the ticks would be 1500+. With 30 spores, my Omega would deal 365,55 per spore, for 7…
  • https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/152515/omega-red-spore-damage-bugs-august-2019 This thread has a video of what I am saying. At 0:22 is clear the heavy lowers the degeneration a lot.
  • Bump. Omega Red Heavy seems bugged. 0:22, as the OP said.
  • Yes. I know. There are fights I have some 20 death spores on the enemy, ticking at 1500. I then apply one heavy and back away. The ticks drop to 800, instead of adding to the current degeneration. I noticed that I have 2 degeneration actives: death field and signature. But when an heavy is activated it somehow reduces the…
  • No matter how many death spores the opponent has, when you apply an heavy the degen is more or less 700 per tick. Even if opponent has 30 spores, which used to heavy degenerate by some 1500 per tick, is now much less.
  • Ridiculous is having to explain a joke...
  • It's just like flight companies: when you check flight too many times the price goes up. You just opened that Sentinel's info too many times, so the game knew you were going to rank it. Next time, to confuse the alghoritm, open 4 or 5 random champions, but not the one you want to rank. I know what I am talking about.
  • I started a fight with Death Field active (because of suicides). I managed to place some 20 spores, which were ticking by 1500. Then I heavied the opponent to add more degeneration and suddenly it started ticking by just around 800. I didn't record the fight, but I think this is what happened. Opponent was degenerating…
  • I have a 5* sig 120 R5 Omega and, in my opinion, he needs 3 things to truly shine: suicides, high sig and Sabretooth. In your case, I'd go for Havok. You can still use Omega on Caltrops, Bleed or Biohazard nodes...
  • It's not the game that is successful, it's the franchise. If this game had Mad Joe, Insane Bill and Crazy Frank instead of Wolverine, Cap America and Hulk it would have been out for business a long time ago. Would you put up with these bugs and such if it wasn't for the Marvel characters?
  • Almost qualified! Spent USD1.00 long ago. Argh!
  • Since he is poison immune, he would benefit a lot from full suicides. He also benefits a lot from Sabretooth synergy, since death spores pop 30% faster (you will notice it, trust me) and drop slower. I usually (try to) start the fight with a parry, hold until the parry is about to expire and then launch my combo. Then I…
  • @PeterQuill I also am not too fond of Sabretooth, but the speed Omega's spores pop, and also because they fall slower, earned him a spot in my team. I wish I had your 6* duped Omega, even at sig 20. Lol.
  • I have a R5 sig 130 5* Omega Red, and I like him a lot. Having said that, I have to add I run full suicides and pair him with Sabretooth. He is my main champion and, except robots and Ghulk, he can defeat everyone (easily). If your is not duped, you don't run suicides and you don't team him with Sabretooth, I don't think…
  • I have both Omega and Blade as duped R5 5*. But I only R5 Omega because I run full suicides and have a Sabretooth to pair him with, because he benefits a lot from both. If that's not your case, I would say Blade may suit you better.
  • When act 6.2 was released, Champion and Sinister were bugged. These bugs were very harmful to the players. What would a decent company do? Shut down 6.2. until fixed. What did they do? Kept act 6.2. and allowed players to melt units/revives/money to defeat those champions. Bugs benefit players = instant fix. Fact.
  • One of the new masteries arriving soon will allow to bypass indestructible charges. The same ability that Dr Doom will have. You will see...
