  • Wouldn't iDoom work as well? Non-contact mediums, Shock on each medium - would have to deviate from his usual style of play but would at least get around his abilities. MM or M combos and block bait for openings (and reduce the likelihood of Attuna throwing his specials), and throw the SP2 with his Aura up when he's above…
  • +1 for Future Ant Man, wasn't too tricky at all getting all 5 solos, around 3x SP2s did the trick
  • Special Refund and Debuff Upgrade Stun allows you to almost infinitely stun lock if you make good use of your relic. Strategic Movement and Keep It Going are probably the best standalone hacks for pure damage output. If you run Odin prefights and Buff Cornucopia, the hacks that give you bonus attack per buff/unique buff…
  • Managed to do mine yesterday without the Armour Break hack, relying heavily on Strategic Movement instead to boost damage. Towards the end I was mostly using the stun-lock strategy with the Special Refund and Stun Debuff Upgrade hacks. 6R4 Hercules @ Sig100 + Heimdall + Odin Prefights, with a Fury for backup (and the…
  • For example, I’m currently in the process of helping one of my old alliances transition to Map 7. So far they’re managing to complete it on all 5 days, running Epic modifiers on 3 of them. They have 10.2k average prestige, with no minimum prestige requirement to join. In fact, it’s arguably beneficial for lower prestige…
  • A lot of lower- to mid-prestige alliances are transitioning to Map 7, since the bulk of the T5CC come from Honour Rewards, which are awarded independently of prestige. So in short, if you can run 7x5 with Epic modifiers, your entire alliance is guaranteed a 10% T5CC crystal per cycle.
  • Whilst I tend to avoid generalising in most cases, I think you’re right. Either that, or people are genuinely unaware that Map 7 no longer requires any extra time commitment comparative to Map 6.
  • I find Map 7 less time consuming than Map 6. I certainly log in fewer times to clear it each day. But a big part of that is finding the right group that co-ordinates well and can accommodate your schedule. I would definitely give it a shot, 40-50% T5CC per month adds up very quickly.
  • Mojo was pretty straightforward with my R1 Green Goblin, it just took a little longer playing around his prompts: https://streamable.com/xc6z1e Rest of the path was much less problematic. Used Omega and Doom for Nick Fury. Overall 0 units or potions required.
  • Awesome reacted for the formatting alone, before I even started reading it. Really insightful writeup!
  • Congrats on the title and the R3! I agree with you, I think BWDO is a fantastic champion who is overlooked a little too often. Well worth the R3 imo. Feel free to post any gameplay if you have some on hand, I'm sure people would love to see her in action :)
  • Just wrapped up in exploration, found it all pretty straightforward, but definitely quite fun with some great node combinations dotted around
  • For me, 2020 was the year of many firsts for my account. I took my very first venture into Map 7 in the early days of 2020, much to the disappointment of my AQ potion stash: I completed Act 6 for the first time in March, and willingly subjected myself to the exploration gauntlet between March and June: I took my first…
  • I sympathise with that sentiment, but in reality we still have a very busy month of new content ahead - anniversary calendars, seasonal gifts, special arenas, Halls of Healing/Fortune/Glory, and of course the greatly anticipated release of Book 2 and Variant 6. The Mulaney challenge was also a really fun and surprising…
  • I personally found it quite fun, as events like these are the only times I’ll open Cavs. Granted my pulls weren’t the best (a few nice-to-have dupes on 2020 champs I already own), but I still had a lot of fun opening them, and it was a good way to start rebuilding my ISO stash after my Cyber rankups. I think in the midst…
  • It can definitely seem that way, and I sympathise. But it will get easier as you broaden your roster and refine your fight techniques - and fortunately, there are more plentiful sources of T5cc that you can go after in the meantime.
  • Going for an Abyss completion run is also a quick way to get to your first fully formed T5cc (although you probably already knew this). With the right team and approach, it can be done for as little as 60 revives, though ensuring you have access to at least 100 may be the safer route. Once again, may seem daunting, but it…
  • The resources you're referring to are definitely limited, but absolutely available. Map 7 (w/ Epic mods) is by far my most consistent and largest source of T5cc at the moment. It's a great way for most players to accumulate weekly T5cc fragments since the bulk of it comes from honour milestones (which are independent of…
  • ^ Beyond 1-time rewards such as Act 6 Chapter and Variant rewards, of course.
  • I got my first from Act 6 100%. Got my second from Abyss completion. Formed four more from AQ Map 7 and AW rewards as I worked my way through the rest of the Abyss. Opened two more from Abyss exploration. 10% away from forming 2 more currently. ———————————— AQ Map 7 w/ Epic modifiers is by far my best and easiest source of…
  • But more importantly, my comment’s primary intention was to point out that it is very possible to explore content like the Abyss and Act 6 with low unit expenditure, contrary to what some may believe. It’s all about taking things slowly, with more stash preparation and fight practice. I understand that this approach may…
  • To me, it means that I was able to continue saving units and eventually purchase the July 4th unit cache offers with no additional cost to myself.
  • That’s alright, I’m not really here to convince anyone - just trying to pass on some advice for dealing with content. Though if you’re curious, I do have a series of screenshots marking my progress through the latter parts of Act 6 (concurrently showing my July 4th prep unit stash) - if you’d like to see, I’m more than…
  • If you spend a while constantly restarting paths until you get what you consider a “good” run, you’ll get a lot of practice fighting through tricky fights. This will refine your approach, give you ideas for better counters, and generally get you more comfortable with handling annoying defenders and nodes. Sometimes a…
  • I found the Red Skull fight to be very fun, NF consistently took him down in 2-4 revives. Collector was also quite enjoyable once I got a handle on dexing his specials.
  • Act 6 absolutely doesn’t require units. *Pre-nerf* I explored it just using expiring revives and potions as I was still saving units for July 4th offers at the time. Post-nerf, unit usage is definitely not required to explore with the right approach and sufficient practice.
  • Personally, I felt it was a very rewarding experience overall, especially since I managed to pull my most wanted (Doom) from the Abyss Nexus. I didn’t really have to resort to “months of mind numbing arena grinding” either - I just used spare energy to farm revives for 2-3 weeks, and relied on my free 4hr crystals for…
  • I finished exploring it a few weeks ago. It was about 6 months between the first path and my last. The first path definitely felt a bit tedious, but once I got used to the general style and longevity of the fights I actually quite enjoyed the other four. Lots of soloable/cheesable fights. I think the only fight I didn’t…
  • The materials are there, outside of Cavalier EQ - you just need to put in the extra effort to get them. For example: 1. Find an alliance that runs Map 7 with some level of Epic modifiers. There’s a lot of T5CC to be gained weekly just from this. It doesn’t even need to be a high prestige alliance, as you can get up to 10%…
