The only communication regarding this event is when it starts and how you are eligible to do it.

Find another ally, you have to be in the alliance for 14 days, the gifting event lasts for 14 days itself, as long as you are in an ally before the event starts you are fine. Just you must wait until your 14 days are up to start gifting.

It’s all about hype and customer communication, we’ve always known the rewards are for most any given event, I mean yeah it isn’t gonna hurt to know until Monday but when we do know it causes discussions and those discussions amongst friends and ally mates can be fun.
