  • Good grief. That's absolutely woeful - it's not even worth a fraction of a fraction of the cost of the crystals. This event might be the worst they've ever run.
  • And an abject one at that. Nobody's winning in this event except the uncollected/cavalier accounts who've lucked out and pulled 7* champs. It actually gets *more* disappointing the further on you are progression wise.
  • I mean, they're not even gracing us with the traditional "we can see that you're all angry, but we're still right" response. Which actually gives me hope that they *may* try to remedy the situation...
  • Fantastic post. Even disregarding the terrible value offered by the banquet event, having the community contribute towards rewards - in many cases using whatever money they can afford to spend - that most of them will never get is staggeringly unfair.
  • Screenshot always helps, eh? 😁
  • Same on my alt. No calendar at all - not even the monthly one.
  • The email is so old that the images don't load any more :\
  • That's probably exactly what happened - not a HB user so I'm not totally up on how his kit works. Thanks!
  • It's really not very good. I know all of this feedback will probably be met with something along the lines of "the buff wasn't intended for people with developed rosters" or somesuch, but - like the dpx "buff" - this just seems really... lazy. She's not even a one-trick pony.
  • The little screen that used to pop up if you pulled a 3 or 4* from a prem.
  • It doesn't seem consistent. Start of my last fight was normal, then about 10-15 seconds in, neither block nor parry worked at all. Dex is off-kilter as well. Playing on an s21.
  • This. People got the wrong end of the stick with the max damage cycle, imo. You don't need it for your average lane fight. I use him for AQ map 6 poison paths and - awakened - he's an absolute tank. Spam sp2 to stack the furies and it's usually a short fight.
  • And yes - "every appropriate opportunity" would have been better wording than "any possible opportunity". Many apologies.
  • I have indeed - I'm in live events and entertainment and I can guarantee that maintaining a dialogue with clients is never a bad idea. I'm not suggesting a constant stream of non-information, just a response when prompted - especially when you're the only conduit between clients and operational staff. Letting customers sit…
  • The broader conversation here is about transparency. When we get an update but see no progress for months, you could forgive people for beginning to question whether it'd be a prudent choice to continue spending. When the incidence of bugs and oversights actually ramps up over that time, you'd be mad not to begin to…
  • Exactly. If it was an isolated incident then maybe you could call it an overreaction, but pretty much every aspect of the game is a hot mess at this point. When you've had nothing but frustration for months in something you're supposed to do for fun - and may well have put money into - then it becomes yet *another*…
  • Personally, I haven't found it too bad. But - I'm in a 60m alliance full of thronebreaker+ level accounts. The whole idea of alliance events is that the entire alliance can be involved. In any alliance where there's a broad spectrum of account ratings, the addition of 6* 5/65s and the lack of proper scaling may well be too…
  • 100%. Ultimately you want to feel like you beat a path with something other than your wallet. By that, I don't mean that everything should be easy - take the grandmaster fight. It's annoying as hell until you get it down, but that feeling when you get to the last phase, skip straight to an sp3 and nuke him out of existence…
  • @Manman2123 good points well made. Communication is definitely the way forward. People often forget that they get angry because they're invested and they care. If the forums didn't kick off when things went south it'd paint a far bleaker picture. Kabam mods - honestly guys, just talk to us! Even if you don't have much to…
  • Void is probably the best option. Nullify immune champs that deal physical damage can take him down as well, though. I used to use thing when he was a mini before.
  • Exactly.
  • Dude, I don't care what the compensation is. I don't even care if there *is* any. The long and the short of it is that there are people employed with the sole purpose of communicating with customers and the best they've done so far has been to offer a single, bland apology. You'd think that - given the current sorry state…
  • Does anyone else get the feeling that this isn't being treated with any particular urgency? If my clients were this angry I'd have them in the loop at every possible opportunity - even if it was just to say that I was still waiting for more info. This sort of frustration doesn't just evaporate away. The longer the…
  • It's been a while and I could be wrong, but I had it in my head that uncollected had a level 40 requirement.
  • Well... I wouldn't open a 24/7 shop and leave it unstaffed over the weekend. Imo, it'd definitely be worth it to avoid bearing the brunt of all the opprobrium that's festered over the course of two communication-free days.
  • If we hadn't seen what the Devs can do when they get it right, we'd most likely not be having this kind of discussion. There have been some genuinely great events in mcoc - boss rushes where you actually have to think about counters rather than just go with the meta and the thanos event where different avengers were buffed…
  • I know the nodes are still up, but this guy's just silly...
  • Yep! It makes up for the ones you don't get from levels 1-5 iirc.
  • It's a fight you can think your way through, tbh. If you're just reviving and throwing yourself at it, it's like hitting your head off a brick wall. You can parry him and you can intercept him, so all you need to really watch for is his unstoppable. Ultimately, if you find the timing difficult, take a champ with high block…
  • Darn right I did. I also arranged a boycott of elderly peripheral relatives and wrote many extensive and strongly worded forum posts about the frustrating nature of doilies.
