**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

  • Parry is the worst its ever been for me. And have u noticed that if u hold block then release, it will then be impossible to parry in the next 2 seconds or so? It's as if there's a hidden timer that won't allow a parry shortly after blocking. Block is also in the same boat as parrying. Works whenever it feels like. I get…
  • I posted this in the Bugs section after the last patch as well. He whiffs against Spidey after a heavy for sure.
  • I enjoy VP. He's very sub par against bleed immune champs but he's above average against champs that use buffs and can bleed. Very cool character design and fun play style. :)
  • I'm guessing 5.7-5.9mil. Might be lower based on Mordo's and Voodoo's arenas. Second round for highly sought after champs usually drops quite a bit.
  • I have no problem with grinding, but there is a point where the grinding required is just too consuming. We've all seen many posts from many people saying how they even are not sleeping and grinding for 3 days straight to "try" to win some of these champs....and coming up short. Can u honestly say they're not putting in…
  • I agree that some type of change is needed. I didn't personally go for Hyperion this round cuz it's not worth grinding for 3 days straight only to have a chance of a huge disappointment. I feel sorry for those that put up over 6 mil and still missed out on the "basic" champ. If anything, this is just becoming more and more…
  • I'd prefer them buffing the multitude of mediocre champs instead of nerfing the more powerful ones. Nerfs usually cause more frustration than satisfaction.

  • The day Basics start goin for 7.5 mil is the day I take a break from the game. That's a bit too much grinding for me. I'm thinking Hyperion will go for less than 6 mil....hopefully.
  • If I had to pick one it'd be Agent Venom. I love his fighting style and he is incredible for fighting all those pesky spidermen. Also shrugs off debuffs most of the time. My 2nd pick would be Nightcrawler for AW defense. I'm not a fan of Cap at all. He's a very boring character to use in my opinion. Yes he can block like a…
  • It's definitely based on War Rating only based on what I've seen. We've been matched against alliances 3x our alliance rating in 2 of the last 3 wars because our War Ratings were comparable. Matchmaking needs some tweaking methinks. When an alliance with an average member rating of 75k gets matched against an alliance with…
  • Ghost Rider for me. I like that he has an interesting learning curve. Bleed immune and can fate seal, cause bleed, fury, regen, power drain, power lock...and all can be increased with stacked judgements. The jack of absolutely all trades.

  • It'll prolly be a small amount of 4* or 5* shards...but a 4* awakening gem would be nice lol.
  • Yea @DNA3000 I'm going for the 11-25% bracket for the 500 4* shards and 200 5* shards. I'm not at a point in the game where I can just rank up every 4* I get. I have to be quite selective on who I rank...and Dr Strange isn't someone that I'd like to invest 1 iSO or catalyst into personally. After I've built up a stronger…
  • I think the tricky part of that arena will be scoring high enough to reach all milestones but low enough to get the shards instead of Strange lol. After being crippled with nerfs, I agree that he is not even in the ballpark of being highly sought after. I'm guessing in the 2mil range. My goal is shards
  • Ahh gotcha. Yea that makes things much worse
  • I haven't seen anyone mention Quake yet. Takes practice but I enjoy fighting Magik with "Quake charging". I can't quite recall if MD has an effect while using her besides the occasional dexterity usage. Beating Magik without her ever getting a bar of power is...tricky yet very satisfying. :)
  • Intense indeed. Seems the matchmaking needs some tweaks. The only area we are close in is war rating. Everything else is a complete landslide in their favor.
  • I was also thinking Apocalypse. From that list I'd pick Mystique. I think she'd have a very agile and swift fighting style.
  • From that list I'd go Mordo. As already stated he's an incredible AW defender (something my alliance doesn't seem to grasp yet *rolls eyes*). He's also solid for attacking as well once u stack his furies. 2nd from that list would be Beast for me. His Acrobat mode is incredible for limiting power gain from your opponent and…
  • Of the ones listed I'd go with Guilly or X23 as well. Other than them I'd pick Ghost Rider as my current fav
  • I need Carnage. He has been and still is my most wanted character by far. Doubt we'll see him for awhile tho.
