We have not set an end-date for the new period, but we will update this banner when we have more information.

  • You value a 5* crystal more than a t2a? At this point of my progression I do, because I've only got a few 5* that are worth ranking up, and I need more for Act 6. But that's of course very debatable and will vary person to person.
  • I think that depends a lot on what you are excited about in the rewards for each. I made a quick table for myself as to the value of each reward for me, and broke it down by category. And for me I think it makes more sense to go for the Stable ones: That being said, I'm not sure I'll be able to attempt the unstable rift…
  • Looks like Beardo Cap, thanks for the input everyone!
  • He's not yet, but I have a Science AG I can use on him and a good amount of sig stones.
  • Definitely up to you, it's your roster and your AG! You know your play style better than anybody else, so if LC works better for you, then go for it. I actually don't have a 4-star blade, just a 5-star so I can't directly answer your comparison question, however, blade does hit pretty hard, and a lot of additional damage…
  • I'm in a very similar situation as you are, and I haven't pulled the trigger on ranking up my first 5* to R5. I'm leaning towards ranking up my duped Blade (over my duped Corvus, duped Void, and soon-to-be-duped AA) because I have the full trinity as maxed-out 4*, and a 5* GR. I don't think you can really go wrong between…
  • Interesting, so maybe CG over Blade? Thanks for everybody's vote!
  • I have the exact same question! It seems to me that whenever Void is useful, he is VERY useful and you hear a lot about how great he is for a certain piece of content. I haven't heard much about him since Act 6 came out, so I'm guessing a pure damage dealer like Blade would be more useful. But I would love to hear from…
  • I think the guides above are quite good for the basic and feature arenas, but in my experience, for the T4 basic arena, you can't have such a low team PI for fights 20+ (such as the 8,500 suggested). You need at least 10,000 team PI to avoid death matches, but I haven't yet figured out the exact cut off.
  • Ya, it's probably more needed now with the new EQ, but even before it, it would be great for example to know who all the #Dimensional beings on your roster are if you are facing Blade, or all the #Metal ones if you are facing Magneto. Just seems way too useful not to be a good idea. Probably the only drawback is it would…
  • That was the final nudge, yes, but actually I've been thinking about this every since the tags came out and we had events like the Wasp one where the size of the champion mattered. But yes, the Nick Fury event is a prime example of where this would be helpful!
  • CG isn't SO much better, but he is really solid even unawakened. If both had been awakened, maybe Hyperion would have gotten my vote, but I don't think there's a bad answer between the two. Venom would be good two, but I think a level below CG and Hype. Eventually you should R5 all three of them, so it's just a question of…
  • Thanks for the input y'all! I have a 5/50 Magik and LC and have been getting some success with them (seems to really depend on the AI's play style - sometimes with Magik I can't even get her to her L2 before he gets to his L3). My 5* I've tried are DV (mild success), CG (not good), Void (ok), Archangel (not good). I think…
  • Ya, this wasn't really meant to be a quantitative analysis of the drop rates or anything, just an interesting observation. Looking over the results, it seems like when summoners have 40 champs or less, there is often one class or two that dominate (usually skill or mutant or tech). Not sure what the breakdown the class…
  • Sparky, even unawakened, such a great damage dealer!
  • OMG just decided to go for one last chance after 2 duds, and got Blade!!!! So glad I did that, and now I'm not cursing the RNG :)
  • Didn't take pictures, but duped my Kingpin and my BP. 2 skills, but no Blade :( Have 25,00 shards left, not sure if I should pop one more Dhampir or just let it go and save some shards...
  • There are several discussion threads about when to go for basic vs featured 5* crystals - it basically seems to come down to where you are in the game progression and/or your roster (ie if you only have a few 5* champs, better to get more using basic crystals to build up the roster vs if you have a big roster already and…
  • True, Blade isn't the answer to everything, but it really depends on where the OP is at in his progression. I got Blade relatively early in my 5 star roster (maybe the 10th one or so) and still haven't pulled a 4* version of him. And in my case, he helped me a lot to get the initial run on a good chunk of Act 5, and to…
  • Thanks @UmbertoDelRio and @TheSquish671, I have both Corvus and Hyperion, so I will try those!
  • Blade crystal, unless you have him maxed out as a 4* already. A 4* can get you through a lot of the content and let you open basic crystals for a while without absolutely needing him. However, if you don't even have a 4* version of him, I would go with Blade Crystal cause he does help with a lot of content.
  • Honestly, I don't really understand why some champs aren't available in certain star pools (i.e. no 5 star SW). I don't really care, but Kabam has already set a precedent that not all champs can be at all stars, so we are just at the mercy of Kabam's whims really...
  • Also, I can usually got most of the monthly EQ on uncollected with minimal use of revives, and am working on 100% exploring Act 5. I do grind arenas occasionally. Thanks!
