A suggestion: take out the first three chapters--those should be doable with max 3*'s and will give some decent rewards for low energy usage. Better yet, wait until there is a class combat solo event (and maybe a hero use event as well as the spiderverse solo use event) going on and use only that class for all three chapters so you rack up on the solo event milestones.
As for Chapter 4, there is an "easy" path--the one with Stark Spidey at the lowest PI. Won't be a snap if you have struggled, but you can gauge for yourself whether the rewards are worth using resources. While Vulture isn't readily available (yet), Stark Spidey is--find a 5* duped and duel him with a 3* version of a champ you would bring. Part of the difficulty is lack of familiarity with the new champ moves. If Vulture is too hard, then wait until he comes out (likely today) and do the same thing. There are 26-27 days remaining in the quest. Plenty of time.
And if it's still too tough (I struggled with Stark Spidey my first time on the hard path), then don't do it--there will be others. Wait until your lineup is stronger. No shame in that.
