This logic is not internally consistent with either the new change or the old system. Map 6 and 7 did not reward BC, yet are extremely BC intensive to run. There was no offset there. Map 6 now provides No gold whatsoever, while the free to play maps do?

I get that the cost for map6 has been reduced but would allowing the player base who run map6 to keep the 35k gold per week have been game breaking when there is a general gold shortage?
In the overall scheme of things we are not talking about a crazy amount and you are correct that even if you factor in the 35k we loose from rewards then the cost is still cheaper.
However if this wasn’t communicated for this week then surely it would be fair to reinstate the gold rewards for the remainder of this weeks AQ as a goodwill gesture for failing to inform us prior to the change going live?

This has always been the case. You could get Gold from Maps 1-4 before this, but there is an investment in doing paid Maps.

I really don't even know what to say anymore. I have no gold issues but many of my alliance mates do. This is just foolish. How much negative feedback do you guys need to actually listen to your player base already? I can't even help them by donating more gold anymore. Games going in the wrong direction fast.
Im just trying to understand why the net gold cost seems to have gone up for map 6 for gold.
Before donations were 256k gold. We lost the 105k gold rewards and the figures going around are basically in the 170k gold range for balanced donations of 25 tickets from each resource. So the net loss is around 20k gold a week. This seems small but is 100k a basically a month and 1.2 mil a year. Not also to account for scaling costs.
Just don’t understand why the cost has to go up with one of the most stretched resources in game. Take more loyalty if you must but gold is already such a commodity and stretch to cover so many different areas.
This is the prime reason people are quitting the game or severely frustrated with the game. This is the prime reason there is a boycott. This is the prime reason you are losing interest among your community.

This actually makes me sick in the stomach. I wasn't fully convinced about your disconnect from the community but now I am. I'm seriously considering taking a break from this time consuming game because what this is saying is that you want us to waste our time even more on arena to pay for AQ. You've probably converted many Map 6 alliances to Map 5 cause it's free now.

So i guess you still do not understand why players don't want to try to become higher tier players cause you are always taking away rewards that are so basic. Map 6 and 7 players pay a lot of gold to open maps and now Kabam is just looking for another way to get a new edge on spending. Well done for screwing over the top tier players once again. Maybe one day one of you that work for kabam will actually play your own game and understand the frustrations of the players, but until that day comes along you just keep changing things to make every player hate the game more and not want to push for anything higher. Congrats on once again ruining a fun part of the game. Pushing me to retirement once again with your dumb reasoning. Maybe those top alliances should keep their boycott going to try and get simple things accomplished cause they are right, all Kabam understands is money.
