So I've bought about 10 of these crystals, and after about the 7th attempt, I thought" huh, I haven't seen Apocalypse once in this crystal" so I spun about the other 3, and didn't see Apocalypse a SINGLE time. Bug, or drop rates WAY too low?

The reel is just an animation, and not pulling him in 10 crystals is actually more likely than you pulling him

Even when spinning the reel, the champ you get is already determined as soon as you start spinning it (NOT when you press it to stop spinning).

The champs shown in the reel sometimes may not show every champ that is available to get, but what you DO GET is indeed chosen from the fully available set of champs for a crystal.

(if you were to have won an Apocalypse, the spinning reel would have ended up showing you him as your final landing spot, which is different from all the other spinning champs you see up until then)

And fyi, your posts seem to be getting submitted twice each, as separate posts.

    Demonstrably false.

True. I was on cam (Via Houseparty) with some alliance mates goofing off one night. And we all decided to spin some crystals. They found it odd I was able to predict 100% correct who they would pull before they pressed stop.

As soon as the crystal started spinning the alliance feed showed who they pulled.

So the millisecond the crystal spins it’s determined.

noooo. the moment u click it is determined. If u find a new champ a red "1" will appear at your name but only when u click. otherwise it should show when u start to spin

Unfortunately all that proves is that you are the last to know in your alliance.

False, like I said demonstrably so.

Shown in this video I repeatedly spin the very same crystal by disconnecting from wifi after it is already in the spinner displaying the reel. The crystal is never consumed and never actually chooses a champion until you get the “pop” telling it to stop spinning.

Hey @FanBoyPotion, as others have mentioned, the Crystal Spin you see in the game is merely a visual effect. It doesn't always show the Champion you'll receive or reflect the likelihood of obtaining them. Just because you don't see an image of a specific Champion in the reel animation, doesn't mean they aren't obtainable from the Crystal.

The Champions you receive from opening Crystals are determined by the drop rates.

In future, you can avoid any Crystal Spin animation confusion by using the “Open Crystal” feature, located at the bottom right of the Crystal Vault screen. This will automatically open up to 10 Crystals that are currently in the Crystal Vault and will not affect the drop rate in any way.

You can find more information in THIS article about the Crystal Spin animation. There's also information HERE about drop rates.
