Pour (Another) One Out for OGCM

When the Mohawk-headed CM emerged as one of the first batches of 5*, I remember the standard line was that she could hit like a truck. In fact, she was part of a team that old-timers used to complete then end-game content (seriously).
Times changed. When CMM arrived, OGCM was mostly forgotten, but there was hope new Carol might boost old Carol via synergy. Sadly, the synergy for old Carol was minimal at best.
Now comes Photon, another Marvel with a full complement of powers and abilities. It’s almost too much to hope she might give a little nudge to the original Captain.
And she doesn’t. No synergy, nada. Not even the tiny “furies are stronger” or “increase in block pro” throwaway synergy. It’s almost like the team completely forgot OGCM exists.
In my view, it is silly to leave proto-champs like OGCM in the game as anything other than defensive fodder or starter champs for brand new accounts if the team isn’t going to give them any improvements.

For example, all guardians got some synergies when Mantis and Adam came in game except Groot. I thought they are gonna buff groot or maybe it's in the works so they can add synergies in his kit along with it but now I'm losing hope in this theory lmao

Is she viable today? Not even close but I still don’t regret ranking her up.
Missed opportunities—that’s my point. If you’ve been on forums for a while, you might recall I made a similar post when CMM came out. In fact, you may find the failure to keep OG champs at least a little relevant is a common theme lamented in more than a few of my posts.
I will make you a deal: if and when the Emilia Clarke Skrull comes to MCoC, I will offer nothing but condolences if the team fails to add any useful synergies for Super Skrull.
