Is this supposed to be a question to KarateMike? If so why not tag him?

Adam Warlock is absolutely busted if you know how to play him properly, seems like a bunch of people do not.

Gladiator is quite good with the same prerequisite.

Also, I don't know why you put my name in the title - but hi lol

I tested him for two days
I tested him for months, he's very consistent if you know how to read the AI.
Right but not every AI behaves the same way, I've had situations where I pushed them to two bars and after finishing a full five hit combo against the wall and leaving myself open to bait special, they still refused to throw the special. His taunt needs to stack or be stronger, do you really believe 20% is enough considering how hard you get punished if you make one little mistake in those 2 seconds?

Lol… because you’re the only person who’s actually played the champ already

I worried about bursts during sp. Imagine him as a defender countering your attacker's sp1 and sp2 with the bursts. He is the first champ to do so. He can hurt.

You should never complete a full 5 hit combo with Adam against the wall.
You should do a 4 hit, back off - and if they throw a special, dex it - if they don't, smash through their block.

His taunt reduces their ATTACK by 20% - it increases their chance to throw a SPECIAL by 70%

    70% is a lot.

Back up and leave yourself open & they will likely throw a special.
They will throw a special into your pod after SP2 99% of the time.
If you're testing him in Realm of Legends, don't do that.

You're free to ignore the Champion if you don't like him, but if you're interested in him as a character, I'd recommend you check out some other videos on him & head back to the drawing board - because he is absolutely busted once you learn to utilize him properly.

I felt like his damage was lacking overall for him to be considered busted but I will definitely reconsider him for my rotation of attackers. Thanks for the insight.

I like using the sp3 in most fights because after it, he shreds

His damage gets pretty nuts, especially in longer fights after combining the Fury from Special 3 with the Sov counter Furies.
I r4'd him not too long ago been getting 25k+ medium crits and 15k+ light crits ends fights so fast it's beautiful. When you are getting that kind of damage you are playing him right unless there's a way to make his damage more nutty

Bro thinks Adam warlock lacks damage 😭

Bro. My Kate Bishop cold snap does 12.5k damage per second. I consider that busted. Read carefully,I said lacks the damage to be considered busted. I like Adam warlock.

That’s fair, I didn’t fully understand what you were saying. I think his damage is on the higher side, but I definitely wouldn’t put him around champs like Kate when it comes to DPS.

I think broken or busted gets thrown around too much. Kate, herc, cgr. Broken. Its a high pedestal that’s reserved for only a select few. I understand it’s a great sales tactic to have new champs called broken to pump sales…. Some new champs really live up to the hype

The only thing potentially over tuned for Adam Warlock is his pod. Otherwise, there's nothing I would actually use the word "busted" for. I'd love to see his taunt be passive/stackable. Or passive and stronger. But his damage feels right, I even love his aggressive playstyle, it just really requires AI cooperation.

    Busted, he is not.

Gladiator looks to be in a similar vein and that's exactly what the creator was indicating. He's not going to be our 7* Herc 2.0. But that wasn't the intention. He'll probably be in the same league as Adam Warlock, and his true potential will be behind a bit of skill/unique playstyle mechanics, which is perfect.

That's the only thing I want too, stackable passive taunts, they can nerf the pod if they want my only issue with him is AI not throwing specials when you need them to. I like his playstyle, his damage is great but sometimes he's just so stressful to play.
