This game is not my business, it’s Kabam’s business, if they are ok to spend tons of R&D resources to design a game mode which only has minimum players attend, ing, then I’m 100% ok, please just keep the difficulty and don’t change it, don’t do anything, let’s see.
Claiming an unintended bug is essentially *compensation* is silly. I also don’t think it’s an approach we should encourage the team to take.
If anything is provided, it should be aimed at remedying punitive effects of charge wiping. That “feature” of Raids wasn’t disclosed or discussed, nor (to my knowledge) was it addressed by the team during the week, even though it was brought up extensively in forums.
Dr. Zola
But they allowed us to play Raids for free. Why would they give us compensation after they allowed us to play something and claim rewards for free? No resources spent, we lost nothing. It's just odd. We're not really in a position to be asking for compensation, nobody spent a single piece of glory in tickets.
Oh but my alliance mates spend lots of units because of the bugs.. my mate who isn't as skilled but has x amount of units wanted the best experience for us so he used his units to get us some charges. Needed to do this 2/3 times because the charges where gone? That's just dissapointing and sad.. he was so happy he got us the 10 charges..

So their thought process after encountering a bug was spend more resources on something that was obviously bugged? Are we really living in a world where common sense doesn't exist?
I'm surprised by how slow Kabam is on this RAID thing, it is definitely a big new feature of MCOC, somehow Kabam decided to let players to test their beta feature w/o knowing it's a beta (kabam may deny this, but it's effectively a beta). The result is, quite of few players stepped away from MCOC because they can't afford this game mode and thought this will be the new normal.
So far, the only feedback from Kabam is Miike said they are collecting feedbacks and will give a mini-roadmap about future changes on RAID. IMO, they should either fix this game mode in a week and give an update to the community, or just suspend it for a month so they can take their time to work on it. However, neither of them is likely, normal Kabam style is, giving an update 2 days before the next round, having more angry customers.
"Quite a few players stepped away from MCOC" lol stop being so dramatic you know that's not true.
I just described what happened around me, if Kabam doesn’t care why you care? This forum is supposed to be the place for ppl to give feedbacks, this is what I’m doing now,.

By "around me" I assume you mean your alliance teammates. That's not "quite a few people" then, that's less than 0.5% of the total playerbase lmao.

So you are guessing, I’m saying what I saw, this is the difference, my alliance survived and sit within top 20 in the first round, but quite a few my in-game friends and their alliances were screwed by RAID. Again, I’m giving feedbacks, if Kabam doesn’t care, why do you care?

I think you miss the point…Raids 1.0 was for all intents and purposes a live beta, regardless of whether the team admits that or not. While I cannot speak to other bugs mentioned here, I can speak to the charge wiping aspect specifically and personally.
Dropping 30+ hard earned charges because of a single DC by one player in your lane works to erase a lot of collective effort. Do you think most respectable players simply leave their alliance mates hanging when that happens? Do they throw up their hands and just wait until their free revives the next day to start over?
I find it naive to suggest the team didn’t think alliances would use AQ pots or other non-free resources to clear lanes in their Raids Beta. To the extent resource usage was driven by design flaws, that’s precisely the appropriate spot for a remedy.
For the charges bug. The one where charges were disappearing, and the one where there was no damage boost in the actual fight itself no matter how many charges you builded up.
The "charge bug" is the same cross-fight bug that has been present in the game (most noticeably, in Incursions) for years across every game mode. If a disconnect happens, or if you force quit the app, the fight loses those cross fights / etc.
I'm not saying it's not an awful bug - it is, and hopefully, it will be fixed everywhere in the future. I just don't see how you go about sending compensation for a bug like this that isn't Raid exclusive, has been present for years, and didn't impact the majority of players.
I wouldn't say no to free stuff, I love free stuff and always welcome any & all free stuff - but it would make a lot more sense to me to ask for compensation if the first Raid week wasn't free to play - since the only form of compensation would likely be Raid tickets lol
It just seems more efficient to ask for another free week next month 🤷🏻♀️

We play a buggy game, Mike. Shame on us if we just accept that and keep playing without asking for better.

It's a bug dude sometimes it happens sometimes it don't but this one was common and we didn't know! First time playing raid we *HE wanted it done. + the rewards everyone was tempting.. ofcourse you willing to spend resources for the 3th time if you have the most difficult boss finally at 26%
It's supposed to be hard content. It may have launched too hard, and there's a ton of validity in wanting it to be toned down a bit going forward - but the content was perfectly doable and was finished by dozens of alliances at all skill levels.
Besides the tens of thousands of extra Glory, the first Raid week was also free to enter & didn't require Raid Tickets.
Btw, you know why you think it’s doable? Probably because 1/4 players of 4loki are CCP and you all tried it many times before it’s online, probably because you guys are the top-2 whale alliance in the world. I’m pretty sure this is not the case for most alliances, this is why people think RAID should be seriously tuned, this is why people think they were suffered from this game mode and should get compensation.

I mean raid tickets as compensation? Fine by me! You know how expensive these things are 😂. Also this bug is the most annoying in raids tho as it affects not only you but a lot of other players at the same time

That would be fine in a vacuum where 29 other people don't care if you finish the raid. Some of us (myself included) spent resources (and money) after having our charges wiped on Maestro (twice!) to try and make up the lost time not just for us, but our team.
I do agree that at some point, item usage and spending becomes ludicrous, but this is the game mode that was rolled out to us and at the end of the day, we're an alliance looking to compete for rewards. So, I think that to say we don't deserve compensation just because admittance was free isn't necessarily fair.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in my alliance who's in the CCP and played Raids before it went live. Also, anybody from the CCP who did try it got to play it once or twice for content-making purposes to help the community, not "many times" to practice - as I often see people imply.
The content is doable. Not because a very small number of people got to try it before release, and definitely not because of their spending habits. It's intentionally difficult content - but it was doable.
Hopefully, it will be tuned down a bit so more people get to enjoy it as well 🤙🏻
Using Zemo team is 100% doable in Necropolis, if you’ve tried it many times and knew all the traps. otherwise you will be in big trouble if you failed solo air-walker especially when nobody warned you.
This is why Karatemike thinks things are easy but I don’t.

As a CCP, you should know that doable is not enough, sustainable is the key, it’s not like Necropolis, which is one time content, this is a regular monthly event, all the people I know completed the first round raid, but they all complained and some of them even gave up on the game, because they don’t think it’s sustainable.

That is correct, a live beta for a game mode which usually has a cost but was completely free this time and they even gave you two revives per day, all 100% free. Not to mention, 30k glory which they could've and should've taken away from us but didn't.
That is exactly what I did as soon as I found out about the bug, why? Cause it's a new game mode, bugs are expected. Like I said, zero common sense, why would anyone have a logical reason to beat a dead horse?

That wasn't it at all. Nothing to do with disconnecting or closing the app. The charges were just dissapearing without any of that.
And that still doesn't address the bug were half of the fights, at least on my end, were not awarding any charge via completing the in-fight prompts. As soon as they turned 50, nothing happened and there was no damage increase.
This ultimately ended up in a waste of resources, aside from the free daily revives. There should absolutely be compensation in regards to these bugs, in form of the same type of consumables used on that mode.
It's supposed to be hard content. It may have launched too hard, and there's a ton of validity in wanting it to be toned down a bit going forward - but the content was perfectly doable and was finished by dozens of alliances at all skill levels.

Really don't need to turn it down.. maybe a little but it's fun the way it is. (With the right champs). But that's not the point we're trying to make in this topic. The bugs, the charges, the last minute pull out of revives so all plans for final push went down the drain, the damage bug where he heals the damage done to him. Imagine doing a hard needed 10% damage cap to get us back on track doesn't count and you lose your charges at the same time + you find out the revives where taken out. You'll ask compensation too if you where a (mid) growing account.

Using a Zemo team is 100% doable for 1 path in Necropolis because it is 100% doable - it takes less than 15 seconds to read the trap node, and I know many people who have done it.
I'm a bit confused here, do you want me to personally warn you about every fight in the game going forward?
I don't even see how Necropolis has anything to do with Raids in the slightest.

Doubt it was that common if we didn't see hundreds of complaints about it on the forums (I definitely saw a couple but there weren't that many) and nobody in my alliance had it happen to them.
Even if it was common though, we got like 25k-30k glory that same week. Why didn't your teammates buy revives with some of that glory instead of spending units? (Don't say they spent it all cause store takes days to refresh lol)

Are you just trying to argue? He's advocating for the content to be reduced in difficulty so more people can enjoy it even though it's technically "doable" as is.
Players who "gave up the game" because of a new game mode that will change and it was free. Didn't have to cost you anything. It's just crazy and sounds made up

It's a bug dude sometimes it happens sometimes it don't but this one was common and we didn't know! First time playing raid we *HE wanted it done. + the rewards everyone was tempting.. ofcourse you willing to spend resources for the 3th time if you have the most difficult boss finally at 26%
Doubt it was that common if we didn't see hundreds of complaints about it on the forums (I definitely saw a couple but there weren't that many) and nobody in my alliance had it happen to them.
Even if it was common though, we got like 25k-30k glory that same week. Why didn't your teammates buy revives with some of that glory instead of spending units? (Don't say they spent it all cause store takes days to refresh lol)
They did. But it wasn't enough because of the skill it took. But they still wanted to keep the team effort up and running and not just quit and leave the other stronger players to it. The unintentional glory bug has nothing to do with asking for compensation. I'm not even saying they should give use game breaking comp.. another 180 free tickets could be fine too so we can try again now we know how things work, what to do and what not to doo and they worked the bugs out of raids (most of them)
It's supposed to be hard content.
Hopefully, it will be tuned down a bit so more people get to enjoy it as well 🤙🏻
As a CCP, you should know that doable is not enough, sustainable is the key, it’s not like Necropolis, which is one time content, this is a regular monthly event, all the people I know completed the first round raid, but they all complained and some of them even gave up on the game, because they don’t think it’s sustainable.
Are you just trying to argue? He's advocating for the content to be reduced in difficulty so more people can enjoy it even though it's technically "doable" as is.
Players who "gave up the game" because of a new game mode that will change and it was free. Didn't have to cost you anything. It's just crazy and sounds made up
How do you define free? Tickets and 2 revives per day? Is this enough for you to complete 40 or even 60 million points? Again, I am telling what’s happened, I can’t change how people think.

It was common tho, and if one had it happen to him it was immediatly times 3. If this wasn't the common one then maybe they got another "common" bug as there where a lot of em..
That would be fine in a vacuum where 29 other people don't care if you finish the raid. Some of us (myself included) spent resources (and money) after having our charges wiped on Maestro (twice!) to try and make up the lost time not just for us, but our team.
I do agree that at some point, item usage and spending becomes ludicrous, but this is the game mode that was rolled out to us and at the end of the day, we're an alliance looking to compete for rewards. So, I think that to say we don't deserve compensation just because admittance was free isn't necessarily fair.
Big fan btw!
Why didn't you use some of that 25k-30k glory from the bug on revives instead of using units and actual money?
Short answer: I did. But, as you should know, there are rules to the glory store, including 4 team revives per week. Could be 15k glory, could be 150k glory. All you get is 4 revives for the week homie!
Using Zemo team is 100% doable in Necropolis, if you’ve tried it many times and knew all the traps. otherwise you will be in big trouble if you failed solo air-walker especially when nobody warned you.
This is why Karatemike thinks things are easy but I don’t.
Nope, I’m trying to give another example to explain why you and I have different feelings about the game mode, and have different opinions on the compensation

This forum is supposed to be the place for ppl to give feedbacks, this is what I’m doing now,.

That is exactly what I did as soon as I found out about the bug, why? Cause it's a new game mode, bugs are expected. Like I said, zero common sense, why would anyone have a logical reason to beat a dead horse?
And that still doesn't address the bug were half of the fights, at least on my end, were not awarding any charge via completing the in-fight prompts. As soon as they turned 50, nothing happened and there was no damage increase.
This ultimately ended up in a waste of resources, aside from the free daily revives. There should absolutely be compensation in regards to these bugs, in form of the same type of consumables used on that mode.
I'm a bit confused here, do you want me to personally warn you about every fight in the game going forward?
