As I write this we are at 990 million points and averaging about 2.4 million per hour. Best guess is we will reach one billion points in about four to five hours, unlocking the Titan crystal slightly ahead of my earlier predictions due to a higher than expected rise in scoring.
Reminder that to claim the Titan requires individually scoring at least 5000 points for the event. The player base total score only unlocks the milestones, you still have to qualify for them.
My current best estimate is our final score will end up around 1.18 billion, although 1.2b is still technically in reach depending on how the final days go. Contrary to what some have been saying recently, scoring has actually been trending upward as we head into the home stretch.
For those interested, the players have scored 820 million and current estimate is without Stark donations we will reach 1.01 billion points by the end of the event, doing just enough to bag the Titan even without Stark donations. Whether we hit one billion or not will come down to the wire. There might be a drop off once we hit the Titan, on the other hand there might be a mad dash to qualify for the Titan as it becomes a certainty.
