CHRONO-VERSARY PART 2

After 10 years of multidimensional events and quantum entanglements, The Fantastic Four have tasked H.E.R.B.I.E. and The Summoner with chrono-cataloging the Champions of The Contest.

To prevent potential chronological disturbance, The Summoner may only conduct this census using Champions who appeared in The Contest in the same year as those being investigated. So dust off that roster and Rank Up those classic Champions, because the 10th Anniversary of The Contest of Champions is going to be a battle for (and through) the ages!


START DATE - December 11, 2024
END DATE - January 8, 2024

TLDR Overview

  • Just like part 1, with new weekly quests focusing on more recent years. Each week a new Quest will unlock focusing on a specific year.
    • Defenders in each Quest are from that specific year. In order to blend in, Summoners will need to bring Champions from the same specific year.
    • Summoners do not need to complete previous Quests to attempt newer ones.
    • Summoners can collect path rewards and will need to explore multiple paths for Solo Objective and Solo Event rewards. In addition, be on the lookout for opponents who might fill in the gaps on H.E.R.B.I.E.’s travels through time!
    • As soon as it unlocks each Quest will be available for the remainder of the event. However, some Solo Objectives and Solo Events will only last a week, so be sure to double check and prioritize them before they expire!
  • 3 paths per Quest with 6 fights per path.
    • No entry keys are required, just a valid team of Champions from the specific year. Crystals will be available to help collect Champions from each year.
    • Difficulty is determined by Summoner progression. If Summoners advance their Progression during the period of the Event they will lose their progress in the Event. However, Quests are available for the duration of the Event so Summoners will be able to replay content to earn the associated progress, now at a higher tier with its associated rewards.
  • Solo Objectives are focused on defeating defenders with specific tags and winning fights with Champions from the specific years.
  • Solo Event is focused on defeating defenders with the #Villain Tag.
    • Earn more points by defeating the specified Champions inside the Chrono-Versary Side Quest

  • Collect shards to open Contemporary Crystals

Step One- Take on Chrono-Versary Quests

Each Chrono-Versary Quest contains 3 different paths with defending champions specific to that quest's year. Each path contains 6 fights, the difficulty of which is determined by a Summoner’s progression level. Each quest will be available for the remainder of the event once it appears.

Step Two - Complete Weekly Solo Objective & Event Long Solo Event to earn additional Rewards

Each week a new “Party Like its 20XX” Solo Objective will appear alongside the newly released Quest for that year. This objective asks Summoners to win fights using Champions from that year in any game mode (excluding practice mode). Similarly the “Honored Guest” Solo Objective asks Summoners to defeat Champions with a specific tag that changes each week. Champions with this tag will be available in the Side Quest. The “Let Us Make Good” Solo Event will run for the rest of the Chrono-Versary event and asks Summoners to Defeat #Villain Tag Champions in any game mode (excluding practice mode) to earn points. Defeat them inside the Chrono-Versary Side Quests for extra points!

    When they introduce a new progression level, they introduce a lot of exciting stuffs so players get FOMO and push for the new title asap even through means of spending. After sometime when free to play methods are abundant and more players get the new title, they dial back on the good stuff and try to lump the new title with the older one.
