Actually, it hurt those going into night time hours too. Game went down around 7:30 pm my time. Lost 3/4 hours of play I would have been awake for normally. Missed out on an Assassin assignment, some completion, and aq. Then you add into the fact that we have folks in pacific time that lost even more time. It screwed a fair amount of people. @Dropfaith that is why we ask for compensation. Because we lost resources, we would have otherwise gained.
I was awake the ENTIRE DOWNTIME and still dont feel entitled to reimbursement of things I could have earned
were you grinding for goldpool? you might feel differently if you were.
He went for 15m lol not a hard grind
not a hard grind especially if the other players have a 10h advantage.

Well remember a few days ago when you said what if Google goes down ,or something similar to that, and said you'd get nothing as compensation? Well funny turn of events, my Google pixel had a manufacturer defect. Got a new phone free from Google. So asking for compensation isn't whining. I don't care if they do or do not. I'm not spending anymore money. But don't viciously attack anyone that is seeking it. Especially with a terrible track history from kabam. Go back to complaining about alliances that should be banned as well as every member in the alliance for piloting. Speaking of shouldn't you be banned then? All I've ever see you do is show distain.
As mentioned in other threads, there is no easy way to determine compensation simply because each member and ally were effected differently.
European players saw almost no effects as it happened while they were asleep, whereas those of us in the Asia/Pacific region lost our entire Saturday afternoon/evening. The effects weren't even consistent across the US (east coast vs west coast).
Add into it that each player and ally are in different points in progression. Some of us were working through Uncollected Monthly Event Quests, while others are only able to do Normal difficulty.
Then, what was each player trying to do that was interruped? Were they grinding for 5* Antman or 4* Modok? Or maybe even Goldpool? Were they even worried about arena at all? Were they trying a legends run in the Lily challenge? What about the 3-day completion event for their ally?
And for each ally, how were their AQ/AW affected? In AQ, we had 2 BG's that were still able to 100% explore despite the downtime but mine barely got into phase 3 (and that included staying up late after it came back online and waking up early the next morning before it reset). For wars, some weren't able to place defenders or their attack phase was significantly reduced.
So at the end of the day, do you provide the same compensation to someone like Seatin who is a end-game player in Europe with no concern for arenas/event quests that you would also consider fair for a level 45 summoner in Australia using every waking moment arena grinding for his first 4*?
It's finding that balance where end-game players will find some value without over-compensating other newer players. It's not an easy task and I would not want to be responsible for doing it...
I was awake and waiting for the game to go back up for the entire downtime. And as soon as the game went back up I had a half hour of play time before I had to start my shift. I lost out on an entire 8+hours of arena grinding. My enthusiasm for this game has been shot in the leg and is bleeding out

There have been outages since the big one... I know even the one today has had impacts to teammates who bought the deal for Pym Canisters, then were booted due to the outage during their run in the micro realm.. the stability of the application has been worse than ever based on up time the last 5 days, not to mention the amount of drama caused by poor communication with the community, like the DD change and reversal.
