Elsa Juggs Scarlet Witch Herc - even unawakened he is still an amazing champ and is worth taking up IMO. Tigra if you have the skill and like her play style, though she needs to be awakened and high sig to get max use out of her
-
Namor is worth awakening if you can get him to max sig. If not, probably hold for someone better. Will be interesting to see if the re-worked Cyclops needs to be awakened, but that's not for a few months...
-
Do shooting stars - easy way to get a 7-star, along with a ton of ISO if you need for rank-ups.

+1 problem for me in Shooting Stars quest, chapter 5. died against Valk, revived and went back in, neither champ was taking damage nor gaining power. quit out of the quest, logged out and logged back in, problem persists.

white tiger = best damage champ of 2024, if you need a mystic brawler, take her up
-
you can def do it. i recently finished Act 6 with: 1 6r4 (Herc) 1 7r1 (Mangog) 1 6r3 (Photon) everyone else on my roster was 6r2 or below. Finished 6.3.1 with a 5r4 Archangel. you can blow through some of these quests, there are pain points, you just have to plan or need a counter. also agree with what others said - don’t…
-
i'd answer your question with a question - if you haven't started Act 6, how'd you get your TB title?
-
The No Retreat node sucks! i was stuck at 6.1.1 for a few weeks for sure. but pushed through and became Paragon just last week as an FTP player, so you can definitely do it! you've got some great champs and an awakened AA will help massively, in this quest and down the road. If you're having trouble getting past a specific…
-
yeah this has been an issue for me all morning. much lower bracket (Silver 3) and unable to find a match, clearly an issue with the game
-
i was stuck on this quest for a couple months. the lane was worse than the boss fight in my opinion - that Cable with Buffet-3 can go straight to hell. Do you have a 5* AA? mine is r4 and destroyed Medusa with the parry-heavy approach, used a single revive when i screwed up a dex.Sym Supreme will definitely do the job.…
-
yeah you prob walked uphill to school both ways when you were a kid too. times change, the world moves on! you know who really benefits from this generous event are ftp players. oh and also every other player. it's a win for all of us. you're already Valiant so why you actually care is beyond me
-
big fan of this thread! been following for years, such a fun ride - so stoked you keep it going dude!
-
i hate No Retreat, terrible node! but keep practicing, you'll get there. Of your champs, AA would be a solid choice because of his playstyle, and his AAR can shut down the node i'm pretty sure. Also the easiest path obviously roster-dependent, but I found the Elektra / MS / Bishop path to be the best for the champs I have…
-
Yondu. never think about that dude
-
i've finished everything minus the Allison Wonderland quest (which isn't needed for the champ selector - probably won't bother since i don't have ISO to spare ranking up the 4-star champs needed for that quest.) I would love to have Valkyrie, however she needs both awakening and max sig to really shine. It will most likely…

among other things, that roster looks....expensive

5* Void, a l-o-o-o-n-n-g time ago. his synergy with KM / WS made them a wrecking crew back in the day, and finally gave me a reliable AW attack team. He was my first 5* r4. I ranked him unawakened and he still SLAYEDS. that dude anchored my roster through a ton of early content and monthly EQ. He was probably my MVP for…
-
just wanna say to OP @psp742 - thank you for this thread, super-enjoyable, i quit MCOC 15 months ago but still return here to keep up on your roster. Love to see how it has grown over time!
-
came for the roster, stayed for the roast
-
Not RNG-based champ - you have control as to what kind of cards you draw based on different inputs (i.e. Heavy = Clubs card, Well-Timed Block = Diamonds card, etc.) An unawakened Joe fixit removes all his cards after using a special. When awakened, his sig ability replaces existing cards with new ones (determined by RNG)
-
interesting comment given that your first 20 champs included: 4. Doc Ock 6. Hit Monkey 8. KM 9. Gulk 12. Red Guardian 15. Longshot 17. Havok all of those champs are, at worst, average. The stronger champs on that list (HM, KM, Havok) are all solid god-tier or better....
-
i've enjoyed opening them myself, i'm batting 2 for 2 thus far... i know neither is *that* impressive (Psylocke could be great if i ever pull APOC)...but i'll take any 6-star champ for free! hella jealous of your Hyperion tho @TheManMythLegend
-
100% worth it, he does so many things and his damage is off the charts. poison immunity, incinerate, power gain, armor break, stun, regen…he is a great choice for r5
-
used Void last night. had to play around the stun immunity and without specials (no power gain available, grrr) but it was doable once FotV kicked in with the petrify debuffs, just dex his hits and let Buffet do its work in reverse. think the fight was 135 hits? not too difficult. BWCV still the best bet.
-
pulled this beast...best 6-star i've landed in a couple months for sure
-
fair point, though i don't *think* the debuffs need to be DOT, they just need to cause Damage Over Time, if i read the node correctly... ...anyway i wanted to put this to the test today so i brought my 5/65 Void and BWCV into the quest. figured i'd use Claire for the path and try to take down a little bit of VP's health…
-
am i crazy, or would Void work well? you’d have to play around VP’s stun immunity, and the chip damage might be too high - but he does apply DoT debuffs without touching the opponent so maybe he’d work?
-
same here. currently unable to log in, but game was running VERY slow when i was last on, approx 5 minutes ago. Now stuck on loading screen pictured above.
-
used Void and 5 revives total, not my best showing but more than worth it for the rewards.
