Hi Kabam, Can we talk?

Kabam, Moderators, can we talk?

There seems to be some hostility with certain kinds of posts being taken down, left and right, regarding “ the package which shall not be named” and “Issues that will not be named.”

I’m not trying to start anything or ruffle any feathers; I want to ask if we don’t post frustrations here or try to bring a discussion directly to you at Kabam through your forums, then where do we go? I think the majority of the people who are saying certain things about the game want to understand the big plan.

I get you guys, I do, as a private company, you are allowed to make these decisions, and that’s completely understandable. I think what the player base would like to know is just a general idea of where the game is headed because it has changed considerably over the last two years.

I reread those dev diaries you used to make about once a month to remember what to expect in the future; I’m hopeful, very hopeful. I would like to know what to expect moving forward because it’s starting to feel like a one-sided relationship. Every meaningful relationship is based on communication.

Ignore the trolls, the 6-star nexus yellers, the “this game is going to die by next year” people, and talk to the fans like myself that have been with you since 2014/2015 and let us know what we can expect.

Please? I want to talk.

You need to be more specific. I don't know what "issues that will not be named" and "package which shall not be name" means.

You know I don’t like posts like this but I think OP did a fantastic job addressing the issues we have without sounding demanding, sounding entitled or asking for the unspoken C word. Honestly continued transparency from the devs is what we ask for. Most of the player base wants to know where the game is heading, what’s in the works to fix it and what are future plans to keep from these issues happening.

    Well put OP.

They're taken down or merged because there are a plethora of Posts on the same topics. When they have something to update on it, they will share it. They're not sitting idle and ignoring the questions.

I'm all for Dev Diaries and Road Maps but only if you can convince the forum community to stop trying to hold the devs to every single idea as if they are promising they will come to fruition.

In an effort to maintain a cleaner forum we merge posts about input issues or compensation into existing threads. Additionally, we remove posts that are deemed non-constructive as per the forum rules. We encourage everyone to continue to provide their feedback, but through more specific threads.

We are, as you know, working to resolve input issues that many are experiencing. The best route forward is to report your bugs here. This information is integral to making progress on the bug fixes. We do have plans for an additional compensation package in relation to the input bugs! However, we're still working through the specifics and want to be sure of the details before we communicate that information.

We are working internally to put people into place to increase communication through this forum and other official channels, including hiring a new Community manager whom I am currently in the midst of training. Please stay tuned!

Thank you KM, this was great to see. Keep doing the great work and I hope we get even more information about what’s happening next soon enough.
