Glad Kabam has decided to compromise - I'd have rather the fight was less tuned, allowing me to earn the 3rd objective fighting, but giving us all an extra point due to it not being "editable" is fair play.

Good move, but man, some people lost a lot of revives. One guy in my alliance used over 12 revives using Warlock. Yeah he now gets an "extra" point, but woof.

We still have the finale, this extra point means 1 less objective for the finale, and if you are valiant, 2 less 😂

What is their logic behind the energy increase? I saw Jax said they explained why in the livestream but I can't find any write up of it and I won't be watching any of the livestreams. I can't wrap my.head around the energy cost. That alone is going to stop me.playing it

Yeah the energy thing is still a loss imo but you just know they aren't going to change it. No way to practice fights w/o busting the pigy bank.

It was around the concept that to earn something in the game, there needs to be a cost to the player

I still consider doing it, but I have only chipped away 5% in my best run with Nimrod! Lol

That would be about 25 revives (if I manage to push him to SP3 every time, otherwise he will heal up on me!)

Are they going to issue the point or do I have to beat it again to get the extra point… I didn’t see them say when they are issuing it out I have 3 points atm 1 from just completing it and one from sinister six and gamma … so do we have to do it again to get the extra point ?

While I appreciate the point, this fight has torn through my alliance .. a lot of summoners were on the verge already and this just sent them crashing. There has to be some kind of "regular" person feedback on this content before it's. released.

I'll have to find multiple spots now to fill the spots this fight has caused.

they'll simply issue the point. you don't have to do anything.

It doesn't address the fact they acknowledge the regeneration is too much. Add a heal block? Something? Doesn't seem like enough to me

That eliminates the Healing completely,. which is still a part of the challenge. Yes, it's harder than we might like, but it's not impossible, and the point of this content is to be hard and to make you explore the depths of your roster for the right counters. That is a part of Absorbing Man, and for the most part, what we're more worried about is how he'll be in the Gauntlet when you can't bring a counter for just him and have to worry about the whole quest.

It would, but we're not trying to make things easy in what is meant to be end-game content. You can get 7 runs in every time you're energy is full, and if you do that just once per day, that is up to 98 attempts, if you so choose to do it.

Healing is fine and challenging fights are fine too - however it does feel overly punishing, considering the current defender’s behaviour, when piled on with Unblocable and Brute Force with this particular champ. Respectfully, that’s pretty much all I’m trying to convey.

I just did my robot run before seeing this.
Changed my whole mastery setup to help out my G99 (collar tech, resonate, and a few others). Still had to have a few cracks at it and a few revives as I am a scrub.
Turns out it was a waste of units/resources.

I don’t know this for a fact but I feel like the #Robot objective was there first, then the Valliant #SinisterSix was added and they realized Scorpion would roll. So then the only option was to remove DoT and burst damage… and nobody revisited the #robot pool to check if they worked still.

Either way all’s well that ends well.
