No complaints here, one of my most wanted titan pickups that I missed out on from my last openings.
-
Sentry probably just needs a bit more juice to his damage and some extra duration on his effects to make the upkeep a bit more stable. His damage is very good once ramped, but from my experience it wasn’t enough for solos which he should absolutely be able to do. Maybe the higher timer of the 7* plus the critical damage…

Idk why you’re bringing up the “only gains warps by winning fights” again, he also gains warps by cycling his forms, this has been said. Even if you die, you can still fairly easily come out warp positive despite having lost one warp. It took me three fights in Necro to hit 10 reality warps, it’s a slow ramp up but it’s…

I mean I’m speaking from my experience on the forums, I absolutely see tons of comments that people wanted Enchantress and Northstar’s ramp reduced so they can see general use. It was like half the buff suggestions I’ve seen for them. I have no issue with wanting any long-form champ buffed to be better in that niche, I…
-
Don’t get me wrong, I get your point, but at the same time I feel like this was a doomed conclusion when he was always gonna be a long-form ramp up champion (it’s what his pre-buff kit was clearly designed around). This community just really hates that design, I’m sure you saw people doomposting about Sentry before we even…

I did a full run. I have a post talking about my experience, but TLDR he was there to cover a few specific problem matchups. Used him for Jubilee (controls power gain), Diablo (controls regen), Sandman (blocks unstoppable), and Spidey as you suggested. Some of those fights were my more revive-intensive ones, but I’m…
-
That’s true, although I simply dodged that issue by using him on the right path where his toolkit was actually relevant lol.
-
Mystic dispersion and unstoppable aren’t a concern because Sentry has wither and halt debuffs. Neutralize is, but that’s not even unique to him anyways, buff immunes and other sciences with buffs like Negative and Overseer are also susceptible. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Sentry taking a more unique approach…

Not the only ones of course, I have some other champs who are by all means better, but all the same I’m not investing in champs I don’t like. Titania and Domino are not getting extra sig stones when I’m not ever gonna use them, these are all champs that I do regularly enjoy playing.
-
Yeah none of them are super great hits, that’s kinda why I’m asking. Using the sig stones on questionable champs is still 100% the correct choice over letting them expire, I just wanted an idea of what would be the best place to dump them. Either way Spot seems to be a pretty convincing winner atm so I’ll probably just go…

Honestly now that I think about it, putting extra “compensation” rewards in the higher milestones is just a repeat of the glorious guardian sig stone situation. Kabam is once again insisting that everyone should be maxing out the event, regardless of practicality or value. The sig stones are useless unless you invest…
-
I would hope you’re right. As someone who only had 4k units to spend, I’m feeling pretty burned by the banquet event too. Adding some extra goodies to the top milestones of the realm event helps some of the people who wasted the most money yes, but I would feel just a bit ticked off if they decided that my 4k units gone…

I hit max warps in 3 fights with a 6*, which has a significantly shorter death timer than the 7*. It’s not super speedy, but I wouldn’t call that prohibitively slow or anything when you’re getting good damage once you hit 3+ warps. I don’t think the ramp up time is the problem with Sentry if there is one.
-
Beating a dead horse with this comment, but y’all can’t go on the livestream and talk big game about how the team has taken previous feedback into account in order to “remove filler” from the crystals then turn around and claim that the intention was always to have the rewards in the milestones. This wouldn’t even be a…
-
Totally agree. Far be it from me to suggest this is a pressing issue with the banquet, because it’s very much not, but it absolutely stings. I’m not getting more than the one key I’ve already claimed, and now I’m sitting on 40 sig stones that will rot in my inventory for almost certainly a year, probably longer, because…
-
I think Kabam is overvaluing the 7* shards given how little the banquet crystals give. I’d be happy to get more 7*s. The milestone rewards are the only reason I got to pop a few 7* crystals today.
-
I am almost certain that a duped 6* Void, even at rank 1, would be preferable to the 7*. Big stats don’t matter, you just need heal reversal, and duped Void does it far better.
-
Honestly I could make a case and say the rewards are alright, although as ahmynuts said that’s pretty much all down to milestone event rewards and not the crystals themselves. Unfortunately this is just the first banquet I’ve partaken in where I’m just not feeling anything, and in that sense I can’t really not call it a…
-
It’s probably objectively better this year than last, but even as someone who’s pretty Kabam positive and easily impressed (at least by this forum’s standards), I gotta say this is the first time I can remember where I just didn’t really feel anything with the banquet pulls. I’m ftp and I never grind units or anything, so…

LLL backdraft intercept repeat. Keeps the opponent in roughly the same place (over the green door) and builds his debuffs. Add a medium or remove a light from the combo to adjust positioning as necessary. If you’ve played Abs man, it’s a similar feel but with emphasis on positioning. Then you just throw whichever special…

You know what that “kill ROL WS in 50 hits with a 4* to be good” was so stupid that I decided to be a hater and have a go at it with a few different 4*s I had laying around at max rank. Note in all those fights I did well over 50 hits before I got bored and just let WS kill me because the point was proven. Pack it up boys,…
-
I definitely wouldn’t bother with her sp3, I got my 1:30 time off of pure sp1 and sp2 spam.
-
If that’s your criteria for good, then I think your selection of rank ups must be vanishingly small.
-
No arguments there, I’ve said multiple times across different threads Leader should’ve gotten a tuneup, I just resent people blatantly lying (whether out of malice or ignorance) and saying his damage is so bad he can’t kill bgs opponents.
-
I guess as proof, here’s some bg fights with Leader I’ve done across various metas, all against at least equal or higher rank opponents. Again, not saying these are great times, I mostly use Leader because I want to rather than him being optimal, but these are not close to timeouts. Notably, the Man-thing, Kindred, and…
-
Leader isn’t really a bgs champ besides as a defender. In other contexts I think he’s fine enough, and if I’m being completely honest if you’re timing out in target matchups then you’re doing something wrong. My maxed 6* usually gets 60-70 second fights in general matchups and closer to 45-60 in target matchups. That’s not…
-
Look man, all I’m gonna say is that saying Leader needed the buff more than Patriot is crazy.
-
I mean buff counters snuff out both of them, not really a big point in SIM’s favor. I like SIM a lot, but I think Vox is just a bit better. The degens are huge damage with very little counters, and the immunity to basically all power control is very nice utility to have. SIM has triple resistances and a bit more immediate…
-
I have no idea what you’re doing to get that sorta damage. Same deal, r1 7*. No relic, boosts, or synergies. I run no recoil masteries, not even a point in glass cannon. Literally half the time.
