Kabam, Adaptive EQ Isn’t "Adaptive"... It’s Just Broken
Many of us, especially long-time players, feel the heat. We’re not asking for easy mode, but we do expect a fair challenge that respects time, effort, and roster diversity, not just the top 1%.
The concept had potential, but gameplay now feels like an endurance test where only the most built-up accounts survive. The scaling apparently excludes everyone else:
"Difficulty stays insane even as you rank up your champions. That’s not scaling, it’s setting players up for burnout."
"Fights drag on way too long. This isn’t fun; it’s a chore. The adaptive idea gets buried under grind-heavy execution."
"And hearing that it’s aimed “at no one” because the scaling isn’t even rewarding the elite? That’s a massive fail."
Kabam, you’ve got a gem here if you fix it. Let’s get:
Balanced difficulty bands:
make it accessible without hand-holding, challenging without being torturous.
Shorter, tighter quests:
something players can tackle in shorter bursts, not all-day marathons.
Meaningful scaling:
where improving your roster actually helps, not just increases the punishment.
Otherwise, this misfire will push more players toward quitting than prestige.

I can't go straight to new posts in a thread with hundreds of replies because I have to scroll like an idiot past stuff I've already read.
If I hit "discussions" which I assume is any recent updated thread since my last visit I have to scroll past ridiculous amounts of old stickied topics that arent relevant anymore and its almost impossible for me to follow what's happening when I eventually figure it out since clicking a quoted thread in a topic doesnt go anywhere.
That is on PC, mobile is worse.
The last few weeks/months have been the worst forum experience I've had and I was around for a fair while on the old forum as well (just to give perspective on how long I've been here)
If the forum software, forced changes and support are so sucky, why not get something that isn't?

Yeah, but the quests are oddly short. Started one, went to get something, and it was done already. Burns through energy just to do a few fights. Was trying to hit objectives, and it's barely making a dent.
So no reason to login in the morning to auto-complete real quick, and less easy to auto-fight in the evening to hit dailies, especially with lower level Monthly Quests gone, let alone the ridiculously high minimum for weeklies… just an all around fail for me. 🙁

Jean and Lumatrix Bugs
Jean is no longer displaying the lowered special threshold after purifying debuffs off the opponent.
Also, when attempting to throw a striker with lumatrix, the button to throw the striker doesn’t work until the 6th or 7th attempt. I think this might be a broader, eidol issue, but I’ve only noticed it on lumatrix.

The one thing I will say is the Forum has become more lenient than it should be. These things used to be dealt with by now, and just because a Mod responded doesn't mean the Thread is wholly productive.
We both know in the days of Miike and Jax, people calling out the staff and making personal attacks was swiftly responded to.
They need more moderation here if anything.

Pikolu is definitely the worst moderator I've seen in a long time. I remember getting banned from MCOC discord for telling him that no one cares about UNO card game. And Yes, I'm not even exaggerating this was my ban reason lol. Definitely power abuse, but it is what it is just a funny ban.
