Re: New daily quest energy consumption
I still don't understand why they dropped the energy refills we get a week to zero. I get lowering them if the removal of lower eq is the reasoning but then drop them from 6 a week to 3. To go to 0 a week just seems like a push for us to spend units on refills or the buy to daily energy card. I'd love to hear the reasoning why zero a week and 1 a month (from the calender) is now deemed an acceptable return. @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex @KabamPinwheel @Kabam Crashed
Re: New daily quest energy consumption
You’ve got no clue what’s actually happening in-game….
Re: New daily quest energy consumption
Buddy, they removed the energy refills because "you don't need energy anymore on the lower difficulties of EQ." The new daily quests are meant to replace those lower difficulties, so why would the refills not come back. Does it get tiring shilling for kabam?
Once again, no Valiant level rewards. Do you guys just not care about the top level?

I'm seriously getting pissed off with this. Opening tiered crystals and highest progression is Paragon and now BRAND NEW content doesn't f*cking have Valiant.
Wtf are you guys doing over there? New EQ Elder difficulty is a shambles and you can't even just put out rewards for Valiant.

Replied to this thread before any of that started happening
Re: Kabam, Adaptive EQ Isn’t "Adaptive"... It’s Just Broken
And here you are thinking they actually gonna listen to anyone, they don't care anymore. As simple as it is.
Re: The change to the monthly quest is really annoying
Idk man,..EQ was a game mode for the player base,..where one could work on getting mats for rank ups and improve one’s roster.
It was a refuge and safe haven from all the game modes that are monetized in this game,.,but now it is obvious that kabam wants folks investing in relics and ranking them up.
So this is for the game team and for Netmarbles already deep pockets,..not a pro player move.
Adaptive EQ is Killing the Game for Everyone
The new quest is highly over tuned and restricting. The rewards are scaled based upon how many champions you have ranked up. It’s not challenging it’s punishing.
FTP AND p2w are getting punished. FTP have always had a harder job of keeping up to whales when it comes to “progress” and content was their best way of getting rewards and materials, now? Oh nah if you don’t got those top 30 say bye bye to those nice rewards, oh and we made the champs have 20k attack so when your forced to bring a 6* bc you don’t have all your 7*s ranked up that block damage… 20% a hit.
Don’t think dropping money saves you either. Even whales are complaining because the investment doesn’t match the return. You spend on champs, sigs, boosts, but what’s the point when Kabam keeps nerfing rewards and stretching content? Paying players expect value and this EQ is the opposite. I’m 99% sure the biggest prestige player in the game can’t even play the highest difficulty lmao.
EQ was something to look forward too a monthly quest to get rewards, valiant gaunlet wasn’t that bad. Sure we had complaints but with a few adjustments it could’ve been solid asf. Now like with every piece of content it’s a chore, with bg, aq, aw, side quests, solo events, etc, this “game” is a job. Instead of listening to your fanbase, you’re listening to your investors or whatever. All you guys hear is “money, money, money,” it’s a lazy design and a money grab.
Kabam, Adaptive EQ Isn’t "Adaptive"... It’s Just Broken
Many of us, especially long-time players, feel the heat. We’re not asking for easy mode, but we do expect a fair challenge that respects time, effort, and roster diversity, not just the top 1%.
The concept had potential, but gameplay now feels like an endurance test where only the most built-up accounts survive. The scaling apparently excludes everyone else:
"Difficulty stays insane even as you rank up your champions. That’s not scaling, it’s setting players up for burnout."
"Fights drag on way too long. This isn’t fun; it’s a chore. The adaptive idea gets buried under grind-heavy execution."
"And hearing that it’s aimed “at no one” because the scaling isn’t even rewarding the elite? That’s a massive fail."
Kabam, you’ve got a gem here if you fix it. Let’s get:
Balanced difficulty bands:
make it accessible without hand-holding, challenging without being torturous.
Shorter, tighter quests:
something players can tackle in shorter bursts, not all-day marathons.
Meaningful scaling:
where improving your roster actually helps, not just increases the punishment.
Otherwise, this misfire will push more players toward quitting than prestige.
