I question whether the elite 6 stars are the carrot they used to be. They will still wreck common defenders… but who runs those anymore? You are still going to be punching onslaught, Zola, serpent, enchantress, etc. None are a cheat code for those. And there just isn’t enough (or any) fun monthly content to make these champs fun like they used to be. Sure they will be sought after for nostalgia but they aren’t changing whale account rosters.

I agree with the spirit of this. They're just good memories at this point and they'll be brought out when their value is sufficiently diminished. I had a r4s200 Fury on day one and he's average at best in BGs.
We're just thinking of the past…the game's different now.

but it's definitely disappointing they couldn't make a proper data driven compensation, which accounted for all these little e details. I kinda knew they would mess these nuances up that's why I prevented from completing even a single quest more than necessary before the comp, and my hunch ended up being right. still, it's not fair.
exclusion of t6cc does not however make sense to me, og act 6 didn't have it, so it couldn't be the same reason as units and gold

IMO, the main difference between two events are profile pictures.
Am I the only one who thinks that “cure” profile pictures are awful and “hunger” pictures are awesome?

I love this game.. and actually I'm not too upset with most of the other issues the game is currently facing or anything like that.. it's just that it's reaching a point of actual unplayability for me regarding completive modes
What inspired this latest post is that I was simply trying to do some practice duels against meta defenders in preparation for this AW attack phase and what I'm finding is that I simply cannot heavy counter reliable anymore.. at all
And I'm just sitting here thinking.. what am I meant to do here? Against these meta defenders on stun reflection, debuff immune.. or any node or defender that would require heavy counters for successful use of the tactic or even the fight itself.. walking into high tier AW with so much uncertainty (which in the previous season was: will I get a disconnect?) about how my controls will work or will the AI have a crucial frame advantage when they shouldn't.. etc. just take fun out of my favorite game mode and reason for playing
I know there are so many issues and priorities rn, but please keep making the actual combat work correctly a priority.. thank you
