What is cash grabby about this? You can get 60+ free revives a month, same for health potions. Is this content really causing people to use a revive every single fight?

I consider myself a VERY average player. Not solo'ing any Necropolis runs, I just completed Epoch and used around 15 revives per path + Ares. Nothing special. I'm likely a low ranked Valiant player.

I used I think 12 or 13 revives total in the quest and something around 15 health potions. That takes me around 6-7 days to accumulate those resources. You have 30 days to complete the quest. This is the opposite of cash grabby.

If they reduced the Fights to 10, and took it down another 15% or so on Attack and Health, that would be optimal IMO.

I'm calling my lawyer.

Honestly I wouldn't have known that a segment of players are choosing to play lower difficulty content for casual fun until it was taken away from them and they came to forums to speak up about it

So Kabam wouldn't have known about it either

The new EQ is one difficulty assigned to you based on your prestige and you are stuck with it, either you play it or you got nothing to play for a month

Kabam said they are doing something about letting players choosing lower difficulty but that would take months, by the time players would have left the game already (based on the skip classic next year earliest timeline)

DNA wrote a similar thesis last month when this new EQ format changed, which I fully agree. Basic fundamentals for the game when it first started was that progression comes along with skills, when you needed to get past certain parts of story, which were very well developed in terms of increasing difficulty, atk and hp. One cannot assume that you have a high skill level if you have highly ranked champs which can be purchased.

This includes a pool of players who may have high skills, can go further but choose not to because they just want to have fun and take their time. Forcing them to be in higher progression to do higher difficultly contents would not change that state of mind

first time we have had bounty missions where we have to been in a fully active alliance to gain entry…

arguably the most complex side quest ever given you and your alliance mates have to go play modes that you were never required to play before. And forget the people outside the alliance. Easy for super active alliances dancing at the top of the food chain - for everyone else?

This has been my issue with the sq's for a while now. You gotta do a thing to get another thing then you use that thing to get another thing in order to do the fight u actually wanna do. Its just overly complex and tedious.

That doesn’t make any sense you wouldn’t prioritise reading a book over essential things like eating or drinking and kind of proves my point as well, because Kabam prioritises non essential things i.e changes to event quest over essential things i.e the game running smoothly and working properly all the time!

By all means work on other improvements at the same time but don’t half arse them and rush them out before they’re ready while your game isn’t even working properly, surely it’s more important to have a game that works than be changing things that don’t need to be changed!
