One word I'd use to describe this champion is forced. His rotation doesn't flow well, utilities like power drain and heal block are not as reliable as with Red Skull for example. Damage phase is so short that unless you're dealt constant energy damage over time its hard to maintain the reverb at high potency even against most mutants. Solvarch can't take long fights, there's no discussion about that. Even in short fights he takes at least 3 bars of power to get going with nothing to speed up that process, he doesn't have something to build up power faster like Titania tanking hits at the start of the fight with haymakers. Most champions nowadays are designed to finish fights in 3 bars of power, Solvarch doesn't even get to begin before that so he's inherently slow for battlegrounds. It feels like his rotation was forced in order to implement the fractured power bar mechanic in a unique way that its so impractical and not worth it. He doesn't have increased ability accuracy or some reduction immunity either so he can't take Domino and Sinister that well who are arguably among the top 5 mutant defenders in battlegrounds, there are so many more tech attackers I'd pick over this guy that I don't see myself using him ever in that mode. AW seems like the only beacon of hope from personal observations but I'd love him to hopefully exceed my expectations.

I don't think everyone noticed this in the game, but Kabam was once again prematurely given future tags with the update. So, apparently these are Alliance War tags for the next saga.
I have already written more than once that the tittles of these tags do not come out of the blue and if they are not directly, then at least indirectly connected with the saga (Like Secutor and Provocateur in the Glorious Games saga, which meant types of Gladiators, and the saga was connected figuratively speaking with fights in the arena, which is also traced in the motion comic to the saga. House of Mirrors in the saga Arcade Games meant Murderworld. Coda and Genesis literally meant the mutant saga... I don't think it's worth mentioning that Fantastic and Frightful are literally related to the current f4 saga)

So, new tags Enfilade and Defilade (in the first Techs/Skills and Isophyne (i.e. it contains all the current 3 Eidols), in the second Mutant/Science... So it obviously has the last Eidol (in one of the tags) and the tags literally have to do with military positions, could this mean that the theme of the last saga is the WAR WITH EIDOLS? (at least i don't think it will be like a war with Founders) This is of course a somewhat crazy and poorly founded theory, but I think it could be true and it would be a truly great ending to this year-long "saga" with the Eidols.

Anyway, what do you think? (I, as I have already stated more than once, was hoping for a saga for a possible Dracula, but I would be thrilled to see a similar end to the year's Eidols invasion)

I think at most it proves that the last Eidol is probably Science
