Re: Love is a Battlerealm 2026: Who is your favourite champion in that pool?
Captain britain. I missed the cap britain double track event. I didn't know she would be great after her buff.
If I had britain then I would choose BWCV…IMO others are s
Re: Kabam is addicted to making mistakes and ruining good ideas.
Adding to that: Everything in life needs a good balance between difficulty, time, effort, and reward.
We're talking about a mobile game, the logic is quite simple: If something is difficult, it needs to be rewarding.
If something takes a lot of time, it needs to be rewarding. If something requires effort, it needs to be rewarding.
The problem will never be in something being too difficult, requiring too much time or too much effort; the problem will be in it not being worthwhile.
That's why people don't like Alliance Quest.
Those who play Alliance War or Battlegrounds play for the competition, because they like to compete, not for the rewards. That's a problem.
Rewards aren't just about leveling up champions; they could be cosmetic things, anything that shows people that you put in the effort and achieved something, after all, competing is also about that. It could be a profile tag, it could be a first appearance version of a champion from the saga, it could be so many things that don't necessarily impact the game's economy; in fact, perhaps being among the best alliances or among the best battlegrounds players in the world should impact the game's economy.
Re: I kinda miss the old champion design/era
You had me until you listed domino and moon knight. Those 2 are objectively awful champ design
Re: do you like the bgs changes?
I like the fact Kabam are trying something different. It’s too early to say if it’s a good change or not.
Hopefully it allows us to utilise some non meta champs that can’t fit into a deck of 30.
Re: do you like the bgs changes?
The biggest complaint I saw from very skilled but F2P or modest spending players was that you just don't have enough bans to even the playing field against whales.
If you want to ban Dark Phoenix and Torch for example, and maybe a 7R4 Punisher, that means you can't have any other bans to suit your deck.
5 bans gives you more flexibility.
Don't forget that skilled F2Ps have 20+ R4s at this point. There is parity in the top 90% of decks, just not in the top 10%.
Expanding bans lets people chip away more at that top 10%.
Now if we're talking about Uru people with 10 or less R4s, then yes, I see how this is bad for them.
But does it matter what happens in Uru? Those F2P Uru people aren't spending or grinding or caring that much anyway.
Re: How Can Someone Even Play This Much BGs??
Hi.
It does not make sense until you see the radiance is 600k a month from hitting celestial 1. Meaning you walk away with multiple rankings and continue staying high in battleground and various modes. So the 7million points doesn’t tell anything at all because it could also mean you either lost a lot of fights and less winning because losing a fight also give you a consolidate points.
Re: I kinda miss the old champion design/era
okay, I apologise for not getting fully informed regarding some champions, but the rest of the points still stand valid, thanks for the insight
