Re: Another sign of disrespect by Kabam Nerf on SW
@Rayven5220 I think u dont understood.
It is obvious that they aren't nerfing her because of node 42 yet they gave it as an excuse. That's another boiling point of my discontent with the lack of honesty.
Re: Who tought it was a good idea to keep the power lock when implementing the node to BGs?
That node is an incredibly old one and the debuffs go in order, so the only way you could possibly get power lock four times in a row is if the node completely broke. Either you're exaggerating to no end, or this is something worth actually submitting a ticket on instead of complaining on the forums about it.
There's also only 10 seconds of down time between getting the special lock and it retriggering, so it may have only felt like it was constant.
Re: Which 6* to awaken have two awaken gems
Serpent. He will be a great option to use in most content and his awakening gives you a little bit of extra safety.
Kingpin is another great option.
Re: Kabam please do something about GC points aquisition
What you are doing is called nitpicking and using a straw man fallacy. This person is trying to bring up the problem of low-level BG participation. He is right that he is not a game designer to judge the best solution, but at least he proposes something.
There is no doubt that BG participation is declining, which obviously makes objectives harder. Maybe changing the points system is not the best option, but it's worth considering. Objective goals can also be adjusted according to the participation rate. It seems that setting objectives at 75/150 points is reasonable now, as the number of people playing GC has drastically decreased.
You did not provide a single good counterpoint; you only try to misrepresent another point of view. Maybe you are doing it intentionally, or maybe you are not smart enough to understand the problem.
Re: Kabam please do something about GC points aquisition
I have thought about it a lot. I typically play whole season. And last season I participated till the last 2 days.
I do want easier access to 200 points objective, this is true. Just because it was very easy at the beginning and extremely hard now.
I do not think I should provide a well-thought solution for whole BG, that will ensure its integrity and competitive aspects, as I am not a game designer. This work is on Kabam's side. I do not understand why you want something like that from me, this is dumb IMO :)
I try to express the problem I see and possible solution to this.
If you see better solution - why wouldn't you just write it here? No, you seem are here just to critisize my comments.
Re: Kabam please do something about GC points aquisition
You're absolutely right. But. Radiance objectives were introduced to encourage participation. In the first season they were added, I reached all of them without any issues. At that time, 200 points were somewhere at high-tier Arcane or even lower.
With so many people participating, many were able to achieve these objectives. However, now that fewer people are playing this mode, it has become much more challenging without a clear objective reason.
Re: Kabam please do something about GC points aquisition
I disagree, 2 coin 1 coin system is very helpful for developing accounts and less skilled players. And it brings enough motivation to play. This is the reason why it is possible for more skilled players to complete VT faster.
Re: The game is getting boring
I can agree with the title, the rest of the post no. Specially BG is full of cheaters, yes I have seen a few, not to the point that I can say wow so many cheaters, and the rating 9 mill vs 6 mill?.... Rating is an irrelevant stat, specially when you are comparing 9 and 6 mill...
Re: "B.R.O.K.E.N." Champions
Red Mags:
I feel like Kabam has been doing everything they can to circumvent his dominance against the wrong class for half a decade by this point, so I think he could be released. However, I'm not sure they will release him despite all of that work. If I were to hazard a guess, I wouldn't be too surprised if they're really scared of that -70% ability accuracy despite all of the newer Tech champions being immune to it in one way or another. But anyone that isn't immune, their whole kit (and whatever nodes Kabam puts on them) basically don't matter to Red Mags. He's ridiculously broken. In some ways, even more than Hercules probably is at this point.
Aegon:
I was just talking about a 7* Aegon with some mates. While I said that I think he breaks the game in a not-fun way (despite being very fun to play), the counter-argument I heard was that he allows the average player a way to complete Everest content. If he was as broken as he was and also very resource-cheap, he probably wouldn't be released. However, he just eats up revives in exchange for speed and less of a strain on your roster. I think that might be the right take on him, so I can see him coming out as a 7* whenever we next see some type of Everest content.
Scorpion:
I don't think there's anything really holding him back. He's a very good champion, but in a class where every other champion released seems to be borderline broken, I doubt his release as a 7* is going to be what finally breaks things irreparably.
BW (Claire Voyant):
Same thing here. I think there was an argument to make that Buff Immunity was too powerful of an ability to allow into the 7* pool, but that argument goes out the window now that we have Nico. I suspect that they will hold off on releasing Claire for a while so that Nico can have that Buff Immunity shine all to herself for a while, but I see no reason why BWCV couldn't join the game in the future.
Hulkling:
I'm not sure if I find him completely broken to the same extent as Red Mags is, but I nonetheless think he's one of the more unlikely champions to be released as a 7* in the near future. He'll probably come out eventually, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was the top prize in next year's Banquet event or something.
Nimrod:
There's absolutely no reason why he couldn't come out now. He was incredibly dominant back in the day, but nowadays a lot of the toughest mutants are both shock immune/resistant and rely much less on prowess and regen and more on stuff like daunted. Both of these things make Nimrod less than ideal as a counter. In fact, I'd even go as far as to say that I wouldn't really know where to use a 7* Nimrod in today's game. The answer certainly isn't "Everywhere!", the way that it was back in his heyday.
