Re: Alliance Coliseum Rewards
Seriously, how many people read every explanation vs. how many just get in and play. I would bet majority of players in game just play for most content. I'll admit I did not read every detail, but just played and noticed it worked. Why would I think it is wrong if it just worked with like no effort? Plus, if kabam knew that was an issue they were going to punish, why not send out a message when people would still have time to run other champs?
Dracula Buff idea
I recently pulled Dracula from the Titan crystals and I took him to R3 to see his potential as a champion. I've seen recently that he's lacking in the damage output and is in need of a buff. I think that the issue is not in his damage but his ramp. A good ramp buff to his kit would make him more viable as a champion and here is my idea:
Damage Loop: Light intercepts to make regular degen dire and then SP2 to make Dire degen even more dire.
Ramp Buff: A power steal passive that activates on his dire degen activation. This would allow Dracula to reach the SP2 faster. (Faster Ramp-->More damage output)
The power steal passive would activate when his degen would become the first dire, keeping that skill cap required in his rotation, further on his SP2 when the the degen would become the 2nd dire, the power steal would become dire as well, increasing the rate of power stolen. And this could be done one of three ways:
Base Kit- A fixed percentage of power steal when the dire degen is activated and a power rate increase on 2nd dire degen (X% of power steal)
Sig Ability- Based on sig level the percentage of power steal can increase, as well as dire power steal tick rate, this would add a good amount of value from pulling him from crystals.
Dracula Relic- As seen with the VTD relic, which made him a lot better, there could be a Dracula focused relic that adds the power steal ability to his kit, since the dire degen stays paused during the striker animations
Why this buff would make sense: Dracula already has the ability to power steal in his kit but it is locked in the SP3 only, adding it to his main loop would be beneficial. Also while his dire degen is active, the animations look like he's stealing the life force from his opponent, so why not the power too?
Overall, I think that this small utility/ramp buff would really help Dracula and make him a much more viable champ and make him the great champ that he is meant to be. Let me know what you guys think and how to evolve this idea.
Re: Unexpected Yet Effective Counters
I like these sort of discussions so I’ll add some of my own:
QS is pretty good for Dark Phoenix. The big draws are that his Whiplash and Trauma damage seems to bypass Dark Phoenix’s Safeguard and Damaging effect resistance, plus the fact that his multihits means you’ll practically never suffer from her post-special Nova Flames. Wither and Slow also help. The only downside is he can’t counter the Immortality and its accompanying Nova Flame, but that’s a whole lot better than most champs can offer.
Not fast enough in BGs, but in War Gorr is a very safe Yelena counter for much the same reasons he’s good against Bullseye; the constant Bleed triggers through block just feed him a ton of Regen Buffs that make him immortal if you’re not absurdly reckless. This includes working on Node 49 with Polka Dot Power. I’m not sure if this one is really unexpected per se, but I don’t ever see anyone mention it so I’m throwing it out there.
Masacre’s big damage moment being a non-crit sp2 into block lets him pull a Crossbones and potentially take down a defending Mr. Sinister. Just make sure to keep him from throwing sp1, or the reflected Incinerates will eat you alive.
If you’re caught against a duped Medusa without a Buff or Auto-Block counter, Yondu works fine. ML to trigger her Auto-Block with Yondu’s Yaka Arrow, which is non-contact and thus doesn’t get you Parry Stunned. The Auto-Blocks don’t even really slow him down much since he still inflicts his Ruptures through block.
Awakened Doc Ock is one of the only champs in the game who can prevent Enchantress from ever throwing a single special and thus activating her Spells, meaning you’ll only ever have to deal with the set of Spells she starts with. This isn’t usually possible since Enchantress is Immune to Power Lock and gains back all Power she loses from things like Drain or Steal over time, but Doc Ock’s Physics Breakthrough immediately Drains all Power the opponent would gain from any source, so it gets around her safeguards and prevents her from gaining power once active.
Re: Banquet Combined Rewards - Excluding T3A, T6B and T5+6 CC
Thanks, I appreciate it. That's the info I was looking for. I have around 20k units at the moment.
Re: December 16th Curiosity Question
Kinda in the same boat, like if I had all the time in the world maybe, but between work and then holiday travel probably only gonna see one or two movies over the holidays, and I know one of them is gonna be Wicked with the family xD
Re: December 16th Curiosity Question
No. The cutting edge VFX that made the original movie so unique is more standard now and the writing has always been poor.
Dear Kabam Santa
Re: Dear Kabam Santa
Some good 7* pulls for my bg deck. At least 1 great pull for all the summoners playing the game.
