i have him as R4 7*,..when he can replenish his bullets through some cosmic matchups or through a synergy like Nefaria he is decent for Questing.

It is a struggle when he runs dry on them though,..he is crafty and a nuke for Bg’s,.,one of my favourite champs,.,but not everyone’s cup of tea i suppose.

Others have covered it well. What I'd personally suggest is using the prefights and hacks in this order [when you get enough charges], though this is just me and others have probably worked it out better:

Prefights:

Annihilate, Leach, Devour, Annihilate, Leach, Devour, Leach [21 charges]

Annihilate, infect, adapt [7 charges]

Enrage, Infect, Enrage [ 7 charges]

adapt, Enrage, adapt, devour, infect [7 charges]

Common Hacks/Steve specific:

leech boost, placebo boost, power gain boost, immunity reverse controls, true sense, grit,

Regular hacks in order [randomly show up on the hack nodes]:

stun duration, special refund, prowess reinforcement, then whatever you think is best

Synergy: Knull and Venom the Duck

The gist of MOST fights [nodes can throw this off] is MM, parry [or MM, MM if you have stun boost] and repeat until sp1. Then, fire your sp1, and keep dashing back to gain 15 prowesses. Then, build to sp2, fire and you're good to go. If they do not die [most will], then repeat or just throw a sp1. If you have the stun boost, you can dash back two times, then dash back in to attack before the stun wears off after a special. Knull will save you if you slip, and you can heal back to full health rather quickly with the placebo hack.
