Reflecting on the State of the Game
You really thought this was gonna be another one of those posts huh LMAO, I know this is gonna get so many people. Wihout a doubt, there's a mismatch between my perspective of the game given where I'm at and someone who's truly endgame endgame, but I've had so much fun with this game the past two months. I played for a few years, from around 2018 to 2021, and was progressing pretty well, but I ended up leaving the game for a while. I recently came back like mid-April, and I genuinely felt like my account was stuck it's insane, I remember trying to get past that Mordo in Act 6 and never being able to. I came back around the Poolshields event into Heart of Fire (both were great by the way for someone progressing like me who hadn't even hit Thronebreaker at that point), and I genuinely went from destroying that Mordo in 6.2 to recently beating 9.1 Orochi (almost Valiant now, exploring Act 8 for that 2 to 3 gem) a few days ago.
Sure, there's definitely a disconnect between where I'm currently at and someone who's completed a plethora of endgame content, GC in Battlegrounds, yadda yadda, but I have to give appreciation where it's due because I've somehow gained more rating in the past two months than like three years playing this game, and I've genuinely enjoyed jumping into all of the game modes, whether it be BG or Incursions or obviously story content. For all the hate and skepticism that Kabam has to endure pretty much everyday from the playerbase, I have to give them props, it's still a great experience for FTP progressing players and hope y'all keep it up!

Re: Will you be playing AQ, AW, Raids when radiance is added to rewards?
Will do all but ngl , The fomo will be strong given how drastically the radiance scales downward. If you're not in plat 1/masters or top aq alliance you dont really get that many

Re: Resource hoarders of MCOC: Show me your hoards, and tell me why you hoard them 🙂

as a f2p player that's the only unique (worthless) thing i have kept for almost 4 years i got others crystals too but they ain't unique btw i do it for fun....it's like memory of those days and event!!
Re: BG Modders
Hi Kabam,I am below 5m because I stopped playing MCOC for 2 years since 2023. I just came back this February and catched up clearing all content that I can (Epoch exploration, Act 8 and 9.1+9.2 exploration, Necropolis, The Ordeal, etc.). My account started at 2M+ rating with 6 7* champs back in Feb and now I'm with 70+ 7* and 3 of them R4. I still have a lot of catching up to do to be able to compete at high tier BG so I'm currently sitting at 200~ ELO but according to you, I must be barred from entering Battlegrounds because of my low rating. Lol.
I am not here to report any modders. I know it requires alot of investigate but in common what I observed is all modders are using pretty new accounts and dump in GC to make all genuine players loose their efforts.
I would like provide a suggestion that adding requirement limit to all players to enter into the most competative mode of this game. If Kabam can set a total account rating limit above 4m or 5m. It will showcase their efforts and also kabam gets time to review such accs before actioning.
Creating and having a 5m rating acc requires a vast amount of time then players also will realise the worth of Bg.
Any thoughts on this is appreciated @kabam.
The introduction of Radiance is a good way for skilled players to catch up regardless of rating. Barring entry by rating is not the way to curb modding.
Re: how to get t4 alpha x 3 and become valiant faster.
See if you have a Paragon bundle builder offer similar to this

Re: how to get t4 alpha x 3 and become valiant faster.
You also need the roster of at least 2 7*s of the right class. I was fortunate on my alt having 7* titania and Iron Heart, so that was the path I did to get my 2 r3s the second I beat act 7.The fastest way to become valiant is do a single path of epoch. It is very difficult and will be very costly if you're not too skilled at the game, but it is the fastest way.Listen if you are decently skilled and have a stash of revives.
Do epoch path 2 with sentry and take 1 high damage champ of tech/science for Ares. Thats it. You can do this path with rank 2 6 star sentry.

Re: Just do it!! Thank you everybody!
This player, PandingoPandingo (aka Cuddles), announced his departure from Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) in a heartfelt message on May 28. Here's a breakdown of what he did:
Played MCOC for 10 years, across three accounts, two of which were hacked (one by an ex and one while traveling).
Spent over $150,000 on the game, emphasizing that he never missed rent or went hungry because of it, and didn't have other addictions.
Built relationships and memories in the community, shouting out popular streamers and contributors like Seatin, RichTheMan, Vega, Prof Hoff, KT1, MCOC Noob, and Lagacy.
Expressed appreciation for both free-to-play (FTP) and spending players, and thanked Kabam, the game’s developer, for creating a deeply engaging mobile gacha experience.
Explained his departure wasn't out of frustration, but rather a "thank you and goodbye" after realizing the game had become too time-consuming and stressful, especially with new Alliance War expectations.
Acknowledged that despite his massive investment, the account was still technically Kabam's digital property, which frustrated him.
Closed his message with a wish list for Endgame versions of Thor and Captain America, and expressed love and gratitude for the MCOC community one last time.
In short, he bowed out gracefully, expressing deep gratitude, nostalgia, and a sense of closure after a decade-long journey in the game.
