There's a story in one of Danny Kahneman's books (The Undoing Project I think) about an experiment he used to run with his econ classes. He would tell the students to write a string 100 H and T on the chalkboard for 100 coin flips that they think represents a fair coin. Then actually flip a coin 100 times and record the results above or below the first 100 "flips". He would then leave the classroom, and then come back when they were done and tell them which one is the real coin and which is their heuristic version.
The way he did it was by looking for long strings of H and T. The one that students thought looked fair would always fail to account for the fact that in 100 flips you were overwhelmingly likely to see long strings of H or T in the true random sample. Randomness is much more clumpy than human heuristics think it should be.
Anyways, the Titan crystal is random.

at this point I just may be done opening titans period. dating back my last 8 Titans pulls mate including the four from the current one and four previous titan .. SIX OF THEM WERE GREEN FLIPPING FALCON! 6 out of 8 magically landing on this dude. smh and across both zero champions I hoped for.

It depends from champion to champion. If the champion has high crit rate and damage, then it won't be meaningful, however, if they have a tiny crit rate, like titania, then you're going to see a much more meaningful increase from those masteries at 5/5My memory fails me, but I think the last meaningful analysis was when the stats and masteries began to be represented as flat numbers. That was a long time ago, but the jump from 4/5 to 5/5 for Precision adds a flat 85 points. Consider whether that has much of an impact on champs whose crit rate is already over a flat 1000.I only run 4/5 in Precision and Cruelty.I’ll have to check this out. I definitely thought that extra crit rating helped out
It’s been a very long while, but I recall someone concluding the incremental bump to 5/5 added little and the two extra points were better used elsewhere. Can’t say I’ve ever missed it.

A 7r1 titania has 263 crit rate and 4/5 in crit gives +340 and 5/5 is +425, so here is there is a significant difference from 19% to 21% when she is fighting other 7r1s.
