Marked doesn’t stop Nick’s second life. Cassandra works because she prevents Skills from having a Regeneration Rate higher than their Health as a percentage, so when Nick hits 0% and triggers his LMD, he can’t heal due to his 0% Regen Rate and promptly dies. The Marked has nothing to do with it, hence why X-23’s doesn’t stop it.

This is an entirely different situation from Galan having a bug that went unattended to a few years ago in almost every way. Nothing is getting swept under the rug - I'm not sure why that phrase gets thrown around so much.

The Team is actively working through this right now.
