Re: Mysterium store update is disappointing
I also made a post about this. They literally just axed a beloved part of the game. Like players ranking up 2 and 3-star champions did not affect anything in any way. It was just a fun thing summoners could do and they made it worse.
Seriously what justification could there be for limiting those resources? @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex
Re: Mysterium store update is disappointing
We were able to get alot more before this change
Re: Why is the essentia conversion stuff limited
Thanks DNA.
A lot was said with little substance to be honest.
The store & trade-in capability is still severely underwhelming.
Re: Update the damn community Kabam
Rofl nothing against Mike on a personal level; what a load or **** that official post was.
The idea was to drip feed? Lets look at this "last week" only. I do believe on a Nightmare Raid week our Alliance gets close to 7k glory. With the drip feed method would have taken 15 weeks to trade that glory 🤣
Re: Why is the essentia conversion stuff limited
where are the AQ potions and revives or is the plan to only use units and money to have an AQ potion stash?
Re: Why is the essentia conversion stuff limited
Kabam didn’t think this through at all, and it shows
Re: Why is the essentia conversion stuff limited
right. they way they did it was nuke every shop and wait for the feedback to roll in on whether people like being able to not spend their currencies
Re: Update the damn community Kabam
They just don't care, this post doesn't even have a f*cking apology in it.
They half arsed the launch, clearly ill prepared and now people have wasted resources or lost them completely because didn't look further than their own nose hairs.
Another f*ck up to add with zero real accountability. I give it till Wednesday for another **** up, either radiance store or carinas I'm betting radiance store will probably f*cking disappear too 🖕
Re: Why is the essentia conversion stuff limited
@DNA3000 That post is not really an answer.
1. "The cap on Glory and Trophy Tokens is also going to be removed to prevent any excess resources from expiring before they are meant to."
It comes too late — as you've seen, many Summoners, including myself, have already had their Overflow Glory expire. Raising the limit at this point missed the mark for (tens of?) thousands of us.
How are they going to reimburse these losses? Not a peep on that…
2. "The design of the Trade-In system is intended for there to be a steady drip of Essentia over time, to support the shift to Essentia, so that Summoners with a large stack of outdated resources don't get a major surplus of resources on day 1 compared to those who don't."
That makes zero sense for two reasons: a) These Summoners already own the resource, accumulated through time and effort; why penalize them by depriving them of the ability to use their own resources? b) There's nothing competitive involved in the store — it's not like there's a Realm leaderboard event for who spends the most Essentia — so who cares how much Essentia one Summoner has vs. another Summoner? Just like before one had more resources than another, so, too, in the new economy.
3. "The tuning for Raid tickets will be adjusted in the Essentia Store going forward to be better in line with the pre-existing purchase rate."
This is not possible because as I previously explained, Loyalty offers a much higher efficiency for RAIDS tickets than the other currencies. How can they adjust the purchasing rate of Essentia based on different underlying currencies?
4. The message doesn't even address what they told us previously, that the Essentia store would be run concurrently with the legacy stores for a short period. If they had done that for even a week, none of us would be in this mess. Why did they not follow through on their commitment? Not a word…
All in all, a very ineffective and problematic Announcement for which we waited many hours and received little value.
Re: Took the whole community to outrage on kabam to make things change
“As for Potions in the Glory Store, those will be moved to the updated Alliance Weekly Super Event.”
Kabam. The game is currently in its most overt pay to win phase that I can ever remember. Why on earth do you make changes like this. Keep the revives and potions available to purchase using a currency that isn’t Units. I would say almost everything
