Mike and Fintech both in the stream, lagacy’s opponent definitely seemed to be modding in round 1, and then they were just shut down before round 2 was even finished. From 400+ to 0 points immediately.

I mean, I'm happy this cheater got banned, but he was in Celestial when he faced Lags.
So think about all the players who lost points to him along the way and will never get any redress for it, except for Lags, who gets to just avoid it because his Kabam buddies want to help him.
What happened to the whole "It's a process, use the report button, it has to go through the proper channels, etc."?

I mean, if you can live stream every match and also happen to have an employee watching, this might happen to you too.

The other thing happens otherwise too. It's not only for "big shots", miike, pinwheel , jax and others have personally helped solve account issues of those who post on the forums(regular players. Not even forum regulars) without having to go throught the whole support process.

But the other system exists because they can't personally intervene for every single issue.

Right, but it's one thing for Lags to get account support on the spot, and for regular players to have to submit a ticket and get support the next day. No issue with that.

But here, he basically gets special protection from losing points to a modder, while other players have to lose points and never get any compensation.

And I mean, last season C1 and C2 finished with the same points. So every point matters, whether you're competing for the brawl or trying to push into a higher tier for radiance.
