Where (and When) is the new, promised, Solo mode with Radiance?
With the introduction of Radiance at the state it is now, the gap between players is getting larger by the week, since top alliances can get, I think two new r4s every month, and the rest of us, not even 1/3 of one.
The new solo mode was promised to somehow close the gap, but, there s no new or information about it since it was first mentined by Crashed.
If this won t get taken care of soon, and the gap remains, people will stop playing competitive modes alltogether, there s no reason to do so, and that means, people who spend, will stop wasting their money for something unachievable, to speak with terms that this game only listen to recently.
So, Any news?
Re: Let’s talk crashed
It's like, if these people had a loved one to hug, they wouldn't have the "vitriol and anger and mob mentality" in the first place. Why do you think these cretins come to the forum to rant and rave in the first place? Because they're miserable in their personal lives and use the game as a proxy for their beef with the real world.
Constructive criticism is cool, but most people here ain't interested in that.
Imagine saying these two things back to back with a straight face and no awareness of irony. We are being constructive… you are not.
Re: Wow Kabam really cannot read the room regarding eq
Honestly DLL talks a lot in his streams and based on his opinions on things you are wrong
Re: Are Kabam finished with MCOC?
The thing about EQ nodes is not only they are 5 years old, but in elder difficulty there just aren't enough champs that benefit those nodes, making those fights way too long and boring.
Hopefully this will be addressed in next months EQ, ideally they revert back to the first valiant gauntlet formula, which players liked.
Are Kabam finished with MCOC?
This new EQ is a perfect example, Kabam couldn't even be bothered to create new nodes, if that doesn't scream bare minimum I don't know what does. Every decision seems to be purely revenue focused ie the energy changes they tried to make is clearly so we start spending units on energy and not the deals, otherwise we just don't play the game.
The only time I've seen real thought and passion go into this game is everest content which is great but far and few between (as it should be of course) and the sales, which come more often than the everest content
This game has funded so so many new and failed attempts by Kabam to create other games, the money is being wasted and not reinvested into the game as it should be; they can't even use the revenue generated to hire staff to fix the many many issues we have, instead they issue lay offs?!
It just feels like less is going into the game and we're getting a poor experience because of it
CAN WE JUST GET THE OLD FORMAT OF EQ BACK!

NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS NOR WANTS IT..THIS ADAPTIVE NONSENSE..LET PLAYERS PICK THEIR OWN TIER DIFFICULTY..BRING BACK THE OLD FORMAT..WHAT ARE Y’ALL DOING

Re: Message for the Sales and Marketing team....
So many Ls going on… even the knights are dunking on em
Re: Heavily Decreased
I’m a Thronebreaker. I play casually. For fun.
You don’t want me to have fun? 🥺
Re: Heavily Decreased
but if it’s adaptive wouldn’t it be an issue at all progression levels?
Re: Did we just win?
Going from "energy refills will be more restrictive than before" to "30 extra energy refills per month!" is one heck of a pivot. Like, suspiciously big. I never kept track of how many refills we got per month before, but this feels as if we're not just back to the status quo but are actually getting significantly more now than we did previously.
My guess is that it'll still kind of even out in a way that suits Kabam in the end anyway. For example, I think there was a solid case that the poker game we got a couple of months ago was too energy-draining. While the mode wasn't exactly embraced with open arms by the community, I still suspect that it'll come back at some point. When that happens, it's not going to cost less energy per entry now that we're getting a free energy refill every day. Likewise, I think the new daily quests could have done well with a little nerf to the energy cost, but that's not going to happen now (and to be clear, I no longer thinks it needs to).
Maybe the side quests start costing one extra energy per tile. Same thing with story content. If another EOP comes a-knocking, we'll probably see the pre-nerfed energy requirements again.
I suspect that somewhere out there, another shoe is dropping.
That being said, I still think this is a win of sorts. I think having even a small stash of energy refills gives you the freedom to do things at least a little more whichever way you please. While I can understand Kabam's desire to make sure that there's not effectively endless energy in the game, I also think there's value in letting people play content in the way they want to. I would find new story content significantly less appealing if I would have to sludge through it over the course of a month just because of energy requirements. It's way more fun to play through it alongside a bunch of mates on Line, each sharing various strategies for the different paths and bosses etc., then sharing and comparing your spoils. I think a lot of the magic in there would get lost if everyone just sort of limped through it over the course of a month instead of, say, a weekend.
I'm not opposed to buying the occasional energy refill to keep the momentum going, but I'm not going to buy 15 energy refills to keep the momentum going. I have better things to spend my units on.
Also, as a teeny tiny content creator without access to the CCP server to showcase champions, I also like to have a few extra energy refills in the stash that don't just go towards completing content. That really helps making videos much easier.
So yes, I am happy that we'll be getting more energy refills. I don't anticipate that it will be quite as much disposable energy income as it might first seem, but I do think that being able to choose when to save energy and when to use it is a good thing and that is much, much easier when you can actually maintain a stash of energy.
