I just love how silent kabam is about all this, one announcement mentioning the glory limit and the raids tickets and nothing else they know they fu*ked up 😂

Their “fix” doesn’t address any issue.

1. I used to buy X resources every week with the glory rewards. Now the glory store is gone, and can’t exchange all glory to buy the items I used to buy each week. I understand the logic of “slow drop” of essentia, but if this is the direction you chose to go with, you should’ve keep the original stores available. It doesn’t make sense to remove the stores and put a “slow drop” of essentia.
2. There are items that were removed from glory / incursion store that can’t buy with essentia. For me personally, I’m disappointed from the removal the 7* incursion crystal because I’m still chasing some champs, and now my only option to obtain them is wasting radiance.
3. The new items in the mysterious store are really useless. Maybe targeting newer players but why can’t throw a bone to higher progression?

her damage reach definitely doesnt feel as good compared to before, but I wrote it off as just me imagining it. This would make sense though.

that these fixes are getting rolled out piecemeal confirms no one took 15 minutes to consider any implications of consolidating multiple currencies in the game. It’s not a money maker, so no one cares in HQ. Same story, different day. Never changes

lol so Battlegrounds store is 'back' but it's only for the Elders Marks and the like.

So they're actively course-correcting but still doing the bare minimum. They explicitly told us that these stores would stay open during the transition period.

I would say most people agree that the store itself is not the issue (I have some personal gripes with the pricing, like t5cc being egregiously expensive for what it is). But overall, I don’t mind the store itself.

What most people are up in arms about (rightfully so imo) is limiting our trade-ins, why? You are limiting and punishing me for playing your game. For being an engagement based currency, this is not a good way to keep people logging in, defeating the purpose of it being an “engagement based” system. The whole “drip feed” essentia statement from Kabam is ludicrous

People are also upset because of the sudden departure of the BG and glory store. Kabam loves telling us half truths and leaving pretty key details out of their announcements. Case in point for this scenario, and for another big game changing announcement, ascension.

You will be able to ascend all new champs after lizard…(several months later…) IF YOU SPEND OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS

You will be able to hold 100k essentia at a time, and you will be able to trade in old currency…but we are going to limit your trade in at a pace that is slower than molasses…in the arctic…in December.

TLDR: I think most people agree, the store itself is not the problem, it’s how Kabam has executed the store and how they are taking away player choice
