“We can’t ignore it”?.This much outrage on simply a gamemode that you can easily ignore is crazy,you completely missed the point or chose to ignore it. it’s not just ‘something you can easily ignore’ — they purposely stuffed it with great rewards so we can’t ignore it. that’s the issue. it’s low-effort, off-brand content shoved into the game with insane rewards to force engagement, not because it’s fun or good.
It also gives good rewards for minimal effort so won't advice to ignore.
acting like that’s fine is how we keep getting more of this lazy design.
I have since last Wednesday when it was released,..did one run of it for 15-20 minutes and I haven’t been back since,.,and I won’t for the remaining tine it’s available.
I don’t think the rewards make it worth playing the mode,.,(it’s that bad),.,so i don’t.
…see?,.., it’s easy.

I feel like i’m the only person not upset about “Doom Cycle”
the simplest logic is often the answer. The “new mode” opens to an external browser and the Fantastic Four movie is coming out. That kinda tells me someone from an office many floors higher than the game team made them put this in. most likely for data collection, to test a new game they’re gonna launch, and/or promotion for the movie. some mix of those three things. if i had to guess someone had this made and they wanted it thrown in in time for the movie.
i think our guys knew everybody would hate this. why ? Think about it Kabam will sell you everything under the sun, but for this they gave away a FULL titan AND units? just to play this slog ? $10 pretty much gets you through the entire thing. One thing i’ve realized about this company is if they can sell something, they will. but they went ultra light on the monetization and threw in a full titan. Meanwhile in game they’re selling 150 titan shards for what ? 150 units i think.. (math check)
the external browser is another piece of evidence that tells you somebody else made this mode and decision. if not why not just add it in with the rest of the stuff? the launcher is in a tiny little box under the SDE. no big tab under the Fight screen.. if i wasn’t watching Vega’s stream when it dropped i would have had no idea where to find it. just a little tab, an external browser and a free titan. that’s not the Kabam/MCOC we know.
I’m open to the idea that this is just a miss and i’m trying to make sense out of it nonsense. but this doesn’t follow their usual steps to horrible decisions.

Re: Now that we know Maker and Evolutionary are Mid, are you still saving for the next Titan?
First of all I still believe high evol is good.
Second I'm going to save since I have all champs leaving, and only desirable pull is jack dupe which is more of a annoyance since I have bastion duped and planning to invest on him instead but if jack gets duped the choice may get harder. (Btw who's better jack or bastion)?
Also among the risk of pulling another rulk vs new maker/high evol, I'll pick the second one.

you keep obsessing over whether i’m competitive like i specifically even said i was — i never claimed to be. i’m pointing out a design flaw that affects everyone who plays this game seriously. if your only filter for feedback is ‘you not competitive bruh lmfao bruh,’ maybe you’re not actually equipped with the mental aptitude to have this conversation.If it's a monthly quest yes I don't care cause monthly quests have been trash for years regardless. At least the rewards finally improved since they clearly can't keep monthly side quests interesting without making them repetitive and grindy. i’m pointing out that kabam jammed valuable, top-tier rewards into garbage content specifically to force players — especially competitive ones — into engaging with it, whether they like it or not. It’s not about skipping it, it’s about how this tactic degrades the game design and sets a horrible precedent.
kabam’s entire goal with this kind of content is to test how little effort they can put in and still get engagement by attaching bait-tier rewards. players like you ignoring it does nothing if thousands more cave and buy arcade tickets.
As for all the whining, if you don't like it don't do it, miss out on the rewards nobody's forcing you to do anything you don't want to do lol.
All endgame content done and you're struggling in Arcane? Like I said, you're not competitive to begin with stop pretending you are lmfao.

I don't know bout the beef between you guys but if he went to arcane then I'll say he's quite competitive lol. That's like top 5000 bg players, or top 5% Valiants if we assume no of active valiant accounts is around 100k.If it's a monthly quest yes I don't care cause monthly quests have been trash for years regardless. Consequences to missing a couple 7*s, some 2* Doombots, a few Units, and a Titan? Bugged./design flaws Masteries do not save.
Hitting wrong button after finishing run does not save completion, uses entry and lose Mastery points.
No way to earn entry energy or healing/ revives unless spending $$.
A new game mode should have a free way to "test drive" the mode and try different things.
A 4 or 5 quest mini-game where there is free unlimited entry and can reset/ restart your game to try another build. A free source of healing and revives. A small set of completion rewards to start abd use in the real mode is enough for rewards.
Then after the players are familiar with the mechanics. You can offer the real mode with the real rewards.
