Do You Know What Your Players Read?...BLAH BLAH BLAH...Same Old Same Old
Well it turn out, that wasn't how we meant for them to work, so we going "fix" it now, yep those champions we sold for, with the video Deep Diver showing how strong they were, well they not now, hey ho,
And of course this is nothing to do with our lack of testing before selling a product, and we were planning to keep the community well information, it just that your were too fast at finding out the problem"
Kingpin, Shocker and now Onslaught, Jean Grey, Cassandra, Deadpool XF, Gentle.
Year in year out, 9 months downhill, then 3 months "top of the pop" right before the big sale, and the cycle continue. It is getting really old Kabam, and you wonder why your players (customers) have a problem with trusting you.
The conclusion to the situation is 5 of the top Mutant champions been nerf (Onslaught have been out for 2 years and NOW Kabam realised he not working as he should? REALLY? Seriously?
A lot of players would have these champions ranked up as high as they could (and put sig stone into them, thank to the MEQ rewards link to Prestige). All of them no long functions as they were, as players have used them and ranked up for.
So while there are 5 champions that are effected by this, I'm only asking for 2 Rank Down tickets.
Now if Kabam can't do Class Rank Down Tickets and maybe Mutant Rank Up ticket instead, so players can use the resources they wasted on other Mutant champions.
Re: onslaught change
Anytime that KABAM exploits an aspect of the game it's ok. But when we try to take advantage of something beneficial to us, they re-balance it or ban us for our effortss. And I use the word EXPLOIT on purpose. Truly pathetic…..
This is one more reason that I will never spend any real omney on this game again. Nothing is safe.
Re: onslaught change
Definitly not a mistake.
Also they are not trying to nerf champs but they are 100% sliding these "fixes" under the rug.
I get it, sometimes abilities are bypassing interactions they are not ment to. But why are they hiding it.
This is not transparency.
Re: Alliance Coliseum is painfully short
They just want you to purchase those xp boosters either with your money or units
Re: onslaught change
I manage large scale applications with lots of users. One thing you learn is that when you give something, especially for a considerable amount of time, to the point that everybody's resources/real money and in this case, roster is built around it. You navigate around it, there's typically a way. But let's assume you couldn't. And it made far far more sense to make a change to something that would take away something valuable that you gave your customers, then try to introduce something that attempted to make up for the reduction (figure out how they use it and give them something that still gets them close) or perhaps you know, properly explain to your customers why it has to be, or you know, have some input from creators/community of approaches that would still ease the concerns of the average user. Because it's surely doesn't ever feel like there's an attempt for fairness/clarity.
Re: onslaught change
Thanks OP, I got it and I tested it too.
It’s definitely a silent nerf without any communication. I don’t care the reason of the nerf like they’ll announce a new skill defender with protection mechanic or 946 boss with protection. I only know this change is never written in the patch notes or bug reports whatsoever. It’s just that they want to change something even half of the top mutants would be effected not only limited in Onslaught.
Jean, Onslaught, Cassandra, Gentle, Silver Samurai and more mutants are nerfed without no announcement or note, meanwhile it needs players to test and find the fact that they have nerfed it.
It’s absolutely a BIG L and “We just fix it into the right way of interaction” Trick doesn’t work anymore. If it’s a bug caused by the new game version, fix it back to the former interaction mechanic ASAP. If it’s a nerf, I believe they just put fire on the oil and we’ll see the community burn again. Whatever it is, the game-changing “NERF” has already swallowed players’ BG points when you use Onslaught to take down DThanos.
I won’t accept any saying like “We just found Daunted is too powerful to be accepted in the game environment”. If so, they better prepare every rank down tickets for every player
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
Brother you can't even play it. You have 9k prestige 🤯
onslaught change
Re: Can the Destroyer fight next week not be annoying?
Yup, agreed 100%. The Crossbones fight isn't too bad, but it is annoying. I think I don't mind it so much because he feels almost bearable in comparison to the pure awfulness of Arcade. But it's definitely annoying about having to worry about multiple things all at once and one slip leads to death, even for an R4 champ.
Re: onslaught change
Could someone Bookmark this for future.
When a White Knight pop up and say Kabam don't do Silent Nerf.
Man the one time someone post a change of a champion without stating that is a Silent Nerf, is the one where IT IS a silent nerf oh the irony 🤣
It is so funny, since the closer of the Rebalance program, we have more champions nerf than ever.
Hulkling, Valkyrie, Nimrod, and add in 5 top Mutants, oh and Hercule. All in just over a months.
Ah the fun at MCoC never stop.
